Abstract
The use of high tensile steel sections in site assembled gates. The high tensile sections would
not be intended to be pre welded orjoined in a factory but can be joined on site. Steel section
profiles might include L, C or Z sections, I Beams, U beams, rectangles, squares, and other
regular produced steel sections.

"Site assembled gates that use high tensile steel sections"
Description of the claims defining this invention are as follows:
Innovation claim - using high tensile steel sections for site assembled gates. The high tensile sections would not be intended to be pre welded orjoined in a factory but have the ability to be joined on site.
While not done so exclusively the use of these high tensile steel sections is generally intended as an important structural part of the base of a gate that is assembled on site. The use of these high tensile steel sections would be commonly important in the lower base area of the gate which is generally in the bottom 25 %or 50cm of the gate. However high tensile steel sections may also be used in higher parts of the gates and also in other structural components including vertical structures.
Definitions Site Assembled means largely assembled from component parts on or near the site of installation for final use as opposed to assembled in factory or other location and then transported largely fabricated to or near the point of installation or final use.
Further explanation on the intended meaning of "Site Assembled". While a factory made gate will often have some parts assembled on site it is mostly built off site. For example, its latches, wheels and wheel accessories might be assembled or added on site. This definition means the assembly of the gate frame and its various parts that are very often assembled off site. Off site assembly often involves welding and subsequent coating(powder coating, galvanising and other coating methods).
High tensile steel is steel defined as having a minimum yield and tensile strength above 350 MPa. See below an industry standard from a manufacturers description of precision steel properties. NOTE this innovation claim is for a strength above 350 MPa which is higher threshold of those steel sections that are currently and generally used in the steel gate industry. See Diagrams for example of industry "STANDARD MECHANICAL PROPERTIES".
Steel section profiles might include L, C or Z sections, I Beams, U beams, rectangles, squares and other regular produced steel sections. Some example diagrams on the attached Diagrams page showing commonly produced sections & a special production section like LSB.
