Abstract
A patient mouth shield to stop aerosols from spreading to the air. It is a thin plastic shield curved to the face and mouth anatomy with two access holes, one for high vacuum suction tube and one for other dental instruments like high or slow speed or triplex. Besides stopping droplets to splash, it creates a negative pressure around the mouth and makes the infection control easier and more practical in dental practices. It attaches to any suction tubes available in the market and with the new designs it can come together with suction tubes in the same pack.
