Abstract

PROPOSED THERAPY TO REDUCE EFFECTS OF VIRAL INFECTIONS The disclosed proposed therapy to reduce effects of viral infections is a combination of lifestyle changes, vitamin supplements and prescription medicines that will reduce the impact of viral infections by boosting the body's immune system. The outcomes of adopting and implementing these strategies will amaze both young an older people. For example, younger people may only have to implement the lifestyle changes to have an extremely healthy outcome.

Description

PROPOSED THERAPY TO REDUCE EFFECTS OF VIRAL INFECTIONS (may help with COVID 19) 16 Mar. 2020
1.Raising your NAD+ (Nicotinamide adine nucleotide) levels by combining methods 1&2 below.
2.Supplement with NMN Igram, Resveratrol Igram combined with Metformin 500mg (type 2 diabetes prescription)
3.Supplement with vitamin D3(as required), vitamin K2 lOOmcg and Zinc 500mg
The above should be taken every morning before meals (no meals in the morning)
When flu symptoms are experienced, take Doxylin (2xl00mg tablets/capsules prescription medicine) initially followed by 1 OOmg once or twice a day or as prescribed by your doctor after meals.
METHOD 1 (Increasing your NAD+ levels without supplements)
1. Intermittent fasting (IF) eating normal amount of food within a 6-hour period and resting your digestive system for 18 hours per day is an excellent IF. A recommended approach is to delay your first meal until 12noon and last meal at 6pm daily. Eat less meat and dairy to lower the amount of methionine in the body. Avoid excessive sugar and dairy products.
2. Exercise daily, inclusive should be jogging, pilates and weightlifting exercises at an appropriate intensity level.
3. Cold showers at least once a day is not only refreshing but also effective in raising NAD+ levels.
METHOD 2 (Increasing your NAD+ with supplements)
1.Ingest NMN (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) recommended dosage not to exceed Igram daily.
2. Resveratrol (Igram) if in powder form to be consumed with a spoonful of yoghurt.
Supplement with vitamin D3(as required),vitamin K2 (lOOmcg) and Zinc 500mg daily.
4. Metformin 500mg 6 days per week.
Acknowledgement:
These statements relating to increasing NAD+ levels are supported by research conducted by Professor David A. Sinclair, PhD, referred to in his book entitled Lifespan why we age and why we don’t have to.

Claims (3)

  1. Claim 1
Over the past 8 years approximately I noticed remarkable improvements in my recovery times when having colds and flu because of daily strength building exercises and intermittent fasting.
The strength building exercises and interment fasting naturally increased my Nicotinamide adine nucleotide (NAD+) levels a coenzyme that is crucial for our survival and a superior way to boost the immune system.
A few years later 1 learnt of the health benefits of doing cold showers and immediately implemented this lifestyle change. Recently 1 learned that this form of cold exposure also elevated my NAD+ levels.
  2. Claim 2
During the 8-year period 1 was also managing two other major health issues, chronic migraines and extreme low levels of testosterone hormones as well as low blood sugar.
1 treated my low testosterone condition with vitamin D3, vitamin K2, Resveratrol and Zinc after experiencing difficulties with prescribed testosterone supplements. Much later years, 1 learnt that Resveratrol also increased NAD+ levels among other health benefits.
The other vitamins D3, K2 and Zinc also enhanced the immune system.
1 treated my low blood sugar with chromium, but a time came when 1 could not afford to buy the chromium, so my wife offered me a metformin 500mg tablet (prescription medication) since she was a type 2 diabetic. The metformin wonderfully restored my sugar balance and 1 continued to use it since it was also much cheaper. Significantly, 1 later read that metformin also increased NAD+ levels among other disease fighting abilities and is recognised now by the World Health Organisation as an essential medication.
When 1 become ill with colds or flu virus my doctor prescribed Doxylin antibiotic which together with my elevated NAD+ levels significantly reduced the effects of the virus. My recovery is much quicker than younger family members who had the flu vaccinations and 1 have less symptoms.
  3. Claim 3
1 also learnt recently from a very credible source that Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN) supplement increases NAD+ levels although 1 personally did not use or purchased this supplement as 1 was satisfied with my ability to combat any of the virus that 1 was exposed to.
This proposed therapy to reduce viral infections may also be significantly beneficial to combat Covid
    19.
