MOUNTING SLEEVE CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
[0001] The present application claims the priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 201821049357.9 titled "MOUNTING SLEEVE", filed with the China National Intellectual Property Administration on July 3, 2018, which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.
FIELD
[0002] The present application relates to the technical field of mounting accessories, and in particular to a mounting sleeve.
BACKGROUND
[0003] Referring to figures 1 to 3, figure 1 is a schematic structural view of a bogie in a railway freight car. Figure 2 is a connection structure view of a connecting rod and a seat plate in the conventional technology. Figure 3 is a connection structure view of a crowbar and a mounting sleeve when the mounting sleeve is disassembled.
[0004] As shown in figure 1, a cross-supported bogie in a railway freight car uses two cross-shaped connecting rods 02 to connect two side frames 01 of a cast steel bogie having three elements to keep the entire bogie close to a "rectangular" state, which can improve the anti-rhombic rigidity of the bogie and improve the running performance of a vehicle.
[0005] In order to alleviate the rigid impact and ensure a certain connection stiffness, the connecting rods 02 and the side frame 01 are connected elastically. The common connection structure can be seen in figure 2. The end of each of the connecting rods 02 is provided with a through hole, in which a mounting sleeve 03 is installed. A cone column 012 is welded on the seat plate 011 at a corresponding position of the side frame 01, and the mounting sleeve 03 is mounted outside the cone column 012, and then fastened by a gland 04 and a nut 05.
[0006] The mounting sleeve 03 includes an inner ring 031, a middle ring 032 and an outer ring 033. The middle ring 032 is usually made of rubber. The inner ring 031 is adhered to the inner wall of the middle ring 032, and the inner wall of the inner ring 031 is of a frustum
15806809_1 (GHMatters) P114246.AU shape with an increasing radial dimension from top to bottom. The outer ring 033 is adhered to the outer wall of the middle ring 032, and the outer wall of the outer ring 033 is also of a frustum shape with an increasing radial dimension from top to bottom. Through the conical design of the inner wall of the inner ring 031 and the outer wall of the outer ring 033, the form and position tolerances among the cone column 012, the mounting sleeve 03 and the through hole of the connecting rod 02 may be eliminated, and a reliable connection between the connecting rod 02 and the seat plate 011 can be ensured.
[0007] Due to the conical design of the inner wall of the inner ring 031, however, the mounting sleeve 03 can form self-locking after being installed on the cone column 012, which is difficult to be disassembled after a long-term use, especially when a certain amount of rust occurs. As shown in Figure 3, when an operating tool such as a crowbar 06 is used for prying the outer ring 033 of the mounting sleeve 03 upwards, the middle ring 032 may deform elastically, and the prying force cannot be applied to the inner ring 031. If the inner ring 031 does not move, the mounting sleeve 03 cannot be removed. When force is applied, it is easy to cause degumming between the outer ring 033 and the middle ring 032, which damages the mounting sleeve 03.
[0008] Therefore, how to provide a mounting sleeve that can be easily disassembled to avoid damage the mounting sleeve to a great extent during the disassembly process is still a technical problem to be solved urgently by those skilled in the art.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0043] In order to provide those skilled in the art a better understanding of the technical solutions of the present application, the application will be further described in detail in conjunction with the drawings and specific embodiments.
[0044] In the specification, "multiple" refers to a number of uncertain, usually more than two. And when "multiple" is used for indicating the number of certain components, it does not mean the relationship between these components in number.
[0045] Referring to Figures 4 to 6, Figure 4 is a schematic structural view of an embodiment of the mounting sleeve provided in the present application. Figure 5 is a cross-sectional view of the mounting sleeve in Figure 4. Figure 6 is a connection structure view of a crowbar and a mounting sleeve when the mounting sleeve is disassembled.
[0046] As shown in Figure 4 and Figure 5, a mounting sleeve 1, including an inner ring 11, a middle ring 12 and an outer ring 13 which are sequentially nested and connected, is provided
-5 15806809_1 (GHMatters) P114246.AU by the present application, and the inner ring 11, the middle ring 12 and the outer ring 13 may be bonded by an adhesive such as glue. Specifically, the middle ring 12 may be made of rubber to adapt to a certain elastic deformation, and the inner ring 11 and the outer ring 13 may be made of metal to ensure the rigidity of the mounting sleeve 1. Herein, the embodiments of the present application do not explicitly limit the specific materials of the inner ring 11 and the outer ring 13, which are related to the application environment of the mounting sleeve 1. For example, if the mounting sleeve 1 needs high wear resistance in use, the inner ring 11 and the outer ring 13 may be made of alloy steel with high hardness and high wear resistance.
[0047] Different from the conventional technology, the inner ring 11 of the mounting sleeve 1 includes an inner ring body 111 and an inner ring platform 112, and the inner ring platform 112 is arranged at the lower end of the inner ring body 111 and radially protrudes from the outer wall of the inner ring body 111. The middle ring 12 and the outer ring 13 are both installed above the inner ring platform 112.
[0048] When the mounting sleeve 1 in this form is used for connecting the connecting rod and the seat plate 2, the mounting sleeve can abut against the mounting surface (the cone column 3 installed on the seat plate 2 in Figure 3) with the inner ring platform 112. As shown in Figure 6, when disassembly is required, the crowbar 4 and other operating tools can pry the inner ring platform 112 upwards, which allows the prying force to be directly applied onto the -0 inner ring 11. In this way, the mounting sleeve 1 may be disassembled with only a small prying force, and the disassembly of the mounting sleeve 1 is relatively easy, and at the same time, the damage of the mounting sleeve 1 during the disassembly process can be largely avoided.
[0049] In a specific solution, the inner ring platform 112 and the inner ring body 111 may be of an integrated structure, that is, the inner ring platform 112 and the inner ring body 111 may be integrally formed. During processing, the inner ring platform 112 having ribs can be formed at the lower end of the inner ring 11. The inner ring platform 112 and the inner ring body 111 may also be of separated structures, that is, the inner ring platform 112 and the inner ring body 111 may be manufactured separately and then installed into a whole. In this occasion, the lower end surface of the inner ring body 111 may be connected to the inner ring platform 112, that is, the inner ring body 111 and the inner ring platform 112 may be installed
-6 15806809_1 (GHMatters) P114246.AU in an up-down direction. Alternatively, the outer wall surface of the inner ring body 111 may be connected to the inner ring platform 112, that is, the inner ring platform 112 may be mounted outside the lower end of the inner ring body 111.
[0050] The inner wall of the inner ring body 111 may be of a taper shape with an increasing radial dimension from top to bottom, so as to eliminate the form and position tolerance between the mounting sleeve 1 and the passing parts passing through the mounting sleeve 1 by press fitting. At the same time, it can form self-locking to ensure the connection reliability between the mounting sleeve 1 and the passing parts. Herein, a taper of the inner wall of the inner ring body 111 is not limited to the embodiment of this application. In practice, those skilled in the art may set it according to actual needs, but in general, the taper may not be very large to ensure self-locking.
[0051] The description of "up", "down" and other directional terms in this specification are based on the orientation or position relationship in the drawing. Taking the perspective of Figure 5, the upper position along the paper surface is up, and the lower position along the paper surface is down.
[0052] Based on the structure of the inner ring 11 described above, the structures of the middle ring 12 and the outer ring 13 may have a variety of different combinations. Reference for details can be made to the following contents.
[0053] In a first embodiment, both of the middle ring 12 and the outer ring 13 may be of a cylindrical shape, and both of the middle ring 12 and the outer ring 13 abut against the inner ring platform 112 with cylindrical lower ends. In this embodiment, the outer wall surface of the outer ring 13 must be of a taper shape with an increasing radial dimension from top to bottom. In use, a connecting piece such as a connecting rod may be mounted outside the mounting sleeve 1 through connecting holes (see Figure 2 in the background section), and a pressing part such as s gland may press against the connecting rod to transmit a pressing force to the mounting sleeve 1 through the connecting rod and the tapered outer wall of the outer ring 13. Meanwhile, the tapered outer wall may also cooperate with the connecting hole to form self-locking.
[0054] In this type of mounting sleeve 1, the structure of the middle ring 12 and the outer ring 13 is relatively simple, and the manufacturing cost of the mounting sleeve may be lower.
-7 15806809_1 (GHMatters) P114246.AU
[0055] In a second embodiment, the structure of the outer ring 13 may be similar to that of the inner ring 11, and it may include an outer ring body 131 and an outer ring platform 132, which may be arranged at the lower end of the outer ring body 131 and radially protrude from the outer wall of the outer ring body 131, and the outer ring 13 may be supported by the outer ring platform 132 and the inner ring platform 112. In this embodiment, the middle ring 12 may be of a cylindrical shape, and its lower end may abut against the inner ring platform 112, or it may be squeezed and installed between the outer wall of the inner ring body 111 and the inner wall of the outer ring body 131 without contacting the inner ring platform 112. In use, a connecting piece such as a connecting rod can mount outside the outer ring 13 through the connecting holes and abut against the outer ring platform 132, and a pressing part such as a gland can press against the connecting rod to transmit a pressing force to the mounting sleeve 1 through the outer ring platform 132. The outer wall of the outer ring body 131 may also be of a taper shape with an increasing radial dimension from top to bottom, so as to cooperate with the connecting hole of the connecting rod to form self-locking.
[0056] In this type of mounting sleeve 1, the structure of the middle ring 12 may be simple, and the manufacturing cost of the mounting sleeve 1 may also be reduced.
[0057] In the third embodiment, the structure of the middle ring 12 may be similar to that of the inner ring 11, which may include a middle ring body 121 and a middle ring platform 122. The middle ring platform 122 may be arranged at the lower end of the middle ring body 121 -0 and radially protrude from the outer wall of the middle ring body 121, and the middle ring platform 122 may be supported by the inner ring platform 112. In this embodiment, the outer ring 13 preferably adopts the structure of the above-mentioned second embodiment, as shown in Figure 5, and in conjunction with Figure 2 of the background section, the outer ring platform 132, the middle ring platform 122 and the inner ring platform 112 may be pressed in turn by a pressing member such as a gland and a connecting piece such as a connecting rod. A downward pressing force is applied to the middle ring platform 122 through the outer ring platform 132, and the axial shearing force of the adhesive layer between the inner ring 11, the middle ring 12 and the outer ring 13 is shared by the pressing force, which may effectively prevent the damage of the adhesive layer and the resulted collapse of the structure of the mounting sleeve 1, thereby ensuring the structural stability of the mounting sleeve 1 during use and facilitating prolonging the service life of the mounting sleeve 1. The outer wall surface of the outer ring body 131 may still adopt a tapered design with a gradually increasing 15806809_1 (GHMatters) P114246.AU radial dimension from top to bottom, so as to facilitate self-locking.
[0058] It should be pointed out that, in addition to the above three embodiments, those skilled in the art may also change the structures of the middle ring 12 and the outer ring 13 according to actual needs to form a new type of mounting sleeve 1, which still belongs to the protection scope of the mounting sleeve 1 provided in this application as long as the structure and corresponding technical effects of the inner ring 11 are ensured. For example, the outer ring 13 in the third embodiment described above may be of a cylindrical shape, and the lower end of the cylindrical shape abuts against the middle ring platform 122, and the outer wall of the outer ring 13 is still tapered with its radial dimension gradually increasing from top to bottom. When the connecting rod is mounted outside the mounting sleeve 1, the connecting rod can generate a downward pressing force on the middle ring platform 122 through the tapered wall surface, which can also have a technical effect of preventing the adhesive layer from being damaged to a certain extent.
[0059] Similar to the formation of the inner ring 11, the middle ring 12 includes a middle ring body 121 and a middle ring platform 122, and the middle ring platform 122 and the middle ring body 121 may be of an integrated structure or separated structures, and in case of separated structures, the middle ring body 121 may be connected to the middle ring platform 122 at its lower end surface. Alternatively, the outer wall surface of the middle ring body 121 may be connected to the middle ring platform 122. The outer ring 13 includes an outer ring -0 body 131 and an outer ring platform 132, and the outer ring platform 132 and the outer ring body 131 may be of an integrated structure or separated structures, and in case of separated structures, the outer ring body 131 may be connected to the outer ring platform 132 at its lower end surface. Alternatively, the outer wall surface of the outer ring body 131 may be connected to the outer ring platform 132.
[0060] Still from the perspective of figure 4, the outer ring 13 may be provided with multiple dividing slits 133 extending in the axial direction and penetrating in the radial direction, and each dividing slit 133 may be arranged and spaced apart in the circumferential direction to divide the outer ring 13 into multiple split lobes spaced apart in the circumferential direction. In this way, when the connecting rod and other connecting pieces are mounted outside the mounting sleeve 1 through the connecting hole, a pressing force is applied to the connecting rods by bolts, a gland and other pressing parts, so that each lobe is
-9 15806809_1 (GHMatters) P114246.AU gradually tightened, that is, the diameter of the outer wall of the outer ring body 131 is reduced to adapt to the diameter of the connecting hole, which ensures a more reliable connection between the connecting pieces and the mounting sleeve 1.
[0061] Further, the aforementioned dividing slit 133 may also be provided in the axial direction of the middle ring 12, and the middle ring 12 may also be divided into multiple lobes spaced apart in the circumferential direction to enhance the deformability of the middle ring 12 and reduce the inward contraction resistance of the outer ring 13.
[0062] Herein, the embodiment of the present application does not limit the number of the dividing slits 133, which may be determined according to the actual situation. It can be understood that the greater the number of the dividing slits 133 is, the stronger the radial deformation ability of the mounting sleeve 1 is, and the less the number of the dividing slits 133 is, the easier the manufacturing and installation of the mounting sleeve 1 would be.
[0063] It should be emphasized that although the original design of the mounting sleeve 1 provided in this application comes from the improvement of the mounting accessories between the connecting rod and the seat plate in the railway freight car bogie, it cannot be used as a limitation of the implementation scope of the mounting sleeve 1. In fact, in addition to the bogie field mentioned in the background art, the mounting sleeve 1 provided by the present application can also be applied to any other field that requires the use of this type of mounting accessory.
[0064] The above is only the preferred embodiment of this application, and it should be pointed out that for those of ordinary skill in the technical field, without departing from the principle of this application, several improvements and embellishments can be made, and these improvements and embellishments should also be regarded as the protection scope of this application.
[0065] It is to be understood that, if any prior art publication is referred to herein, such reference does not constitute an admission that the publication forms a part of the common general knowledge in the art, in Australia or any other country.
[0066] In the claims which follow and in the preceding description of the invention, except where the context requires otherwise due to express language or necessary implication, the word "comprise" or variations such as "comprises" or "comprising" is used in an inclusive
