Abstract

The invention discloses an omni-directional real-time wall thicknessdetection device applicable to bends with different pipe diameters. The device comprises a pipe clamp, an axial motion mechanism, a circumferential motion mechanism, and a wall thickness detection ring, 5 wherein the circumferential motion comprises a first U-shaped sliding block and an axial arc track, the axial motion mechanism comprises a second U-shaped sliding block and a circumferential track, the wall thickness detection ring comprises an electric push rod and a thickness measurement probe, and the U-shaped sliding block that matches with the axial arc track axially arranged along the bend and the circumferential track circumferentially arranged 0 along the bend drives the wall thickness detection ring to rotate around a detected bend at 360 with no dead angles circumferentially and axially; and the electric push rod drives the thickness measurement probe to move along a radial direction of the detected bend, and the pipe clamp is a variable diameter pipe clamp. The invention can realize the omni-directional real-time detection of a wall thickness state of the bend, thereby preventing the bend from perforating, leakage and 5 other high-risk failures, and ensuring the safe operation of the pipeline; and moreover, the device has characteristics of being applicable to the bends with different pipe diameters, compact in overall structure, and easy in installation and operation.
