Abstract

Abstract The invention discloses a massage bed, comprising a bed body with four legs and a bedplate positioned on the bed body, wherein the bedplate consists of the front section, the middle section and the rear section, the bed body is fixed 5 with a lifting mechanism at the bottom, and the upper end of the lifting mechanism presses against the bottom of the middle section of the bedplate. The invention is provided with a lifting mechanism at the bottom of the bed body for elevating operations of only the middle section of the bedplate, that is, to adjust up or down the middle section of the bedplate conveniently when the 0 massage therapist's operation requires. Field of the Invention

This invention relates to physiotherapy equipment, and more particularly to a 5 massage bed.

Background of the Art

Massage refers to the action of rubbing, kneading, pinching or knocking the body surface with hands or devices for the purpose of promoting blood 0 circulation, dredging the channels and collaterals, and adjusting the neural functions in therapy and health care. Massage bed is a common massage equipment for the massage recipient to lie on his/her stomach or back so that the massage therapist or doctor can give a massage on the side conveniently.

Conventional massage bed of a relatively simple structure is a single bed 5 with a hole at the head position to rest the face or the back of the head of the massage recipient so that the massage recipient can lie flat, which is a comfortable position for the massage recipient, and the therapist can give a massage conveniently.

With regard to massage beds used in physiotherapy rooms of some 20 hospitals, the bed can be partially raised to support certain parts of the massage recipient. For instance, the bedplate comprises several sections hinged together and a push rod is provided at the bottom of one end to jack up part of the bed so that the massage recipient can sit up; or, the bed body is provided with a carrier at one end to support the massage recipient's legs; or, the bedplate is provided 25 with massage rollers to mechanically massage the recipient lying on the bed.

The aforesaid massage beds all require a supporting body to rest the massage recipient's hips and waist. That is to say, no matter how the bed body

Summary of the Invention

To address the defects of the prior art, the invention provides a massage bed, characterized in that the shape of the middle section of the bed body is changeable to facilitate massage of the waist, and that the structure is ingenious and convenient to use.

To achieve the said purpose, the invention provides a massage bed, comprising a bed body with four legs and a bedplate positioned on the bed body, wherein the bedplate consists of the front section, the middle section and the rear section, the bed body is fixed with a lifting mechanism at the bottom, and the upper end of the lifting mechanism presses against the bottom of the middle section of the bedplate.

Furthermore, the lifting mechanism consists of a crankshaft and a connecting rod, wherein the connecting rod is rotationally connected with the crankshaft at one end and hinged with the bottom of the middle section of the bedplate at the other end.

Furthermore, the lifting mechanism is a special-shaped cam having convexes and concaves in the radial direction and pressing against the bottom of the middle section of the bedplate with the outer peripheral edges.

Furthermore, the lifting mechanism is provided with a limit bolt device which limits the rotation position of the crankshaft.

Furthermore, the limit bolt device comprises a limiting plate and a bolt, wherein the limiting plate is provided with a plurality of jacks and the bolt is inserted into a jack to seize the rotation of the crankshaft.

The invention also improves width adjustability of the bed body by providing the bed body with an extensible width, so that the bed body can adapt to massage recipients of different sizes and the defect of conventional massage beds having a fixed width is overcome.

The invention is ingenious designed with improvements to conventional massage beds, making massage more convenient and relaxing. The invention reduces tiredness of the massage therapist, enables effective massage of all parts of the massage recipient, and is easy to operate.

Detailed Description of the Invention

The technical solutions in the preferred embodiments of the invention will be clearly and completely described hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings. Apparently, the preferred embodiments are only part of the embodiments of the invention, not all of the embodiments. Other 20 embodiments obtained by those skilled in the art based on the preferred embodiments of the invention without creative work all fall in the scope of protection of the invention.

The invention applies to massage places, including physiotherapy rooms of hospitals. It is convenient for the massage therapist to massage the recipient. A massage bed as shown in Figure 1, comprising a bed body 1 with four legs 2, and a bedplate 3 positioned on the bed body 1, wherein the bedplate 3 consists of the front section 31, the middle section 32 and the rear section 33, 5 the bed body 1 is fixed with a lifting mechanism 4 at the bottom, and the free end of the lifting mechanism 4 presses against the bottom of the middle section of the bedplate 32.

The bedplate 3 positioned on the bed body 1 of the massage bed is divided into three sections, the front section 31, the middle section 32 and the rear 20 section 33, and particularly, the middle section 32 is provided with a lifting mechanism 4 at the bottom to move it up and down, making the middle section 32 higher or lower than the level of the bedplate 3 in its normal state, so that the massage recipient's waist and hips can be lifted or suspended, which is convenient for the massage therapist to operate.

A structure of the lifting mechanism 4, as shown in Figure 2, includes a crankshaft 42 and a connecting rod 43, wherein the connecting rod 43 is rotationally connected with the crankshaft 42 at one end and hinged with the

2019100781 18 Jul 2019 bottom of the middle section of the bedplate 32 at the other end, and the crankshaft 42 is fixed to the bottom of the bed body 1 through a bearing housing 41. When the crankshaft 42 rotates, the lower end of the connecting rod 43 is driven to rotate, and the upper end will move up and down accordingly, making 5 the middle section of the bedplate hinged with the connecting rod 43 rise or fall.

When the crankshaft 42 is level, the front section 31, the middle section 32 and the rear section 33 of the bedplate are in the same plane; every rotation the crankshaft 42 makes, the middle section 32 will be higher and lower than the plane once each.

A crank and other accessories may be arranged on the side of the bed body to drive the rotation of the crankshaft 42, such as a crank connected with shaft gear of the bearing housing 41 by a wheel gear. In addition, because the crankshaft 42 is unstable at the level position as shown in Figure 2, a limit bolt device (not shown in the drawing) may be arranged on the side of the bed body 1 to limit the rotation position of the crankshaft 42, and the height by which the middle section 32 rises or falls can be determined correspondingly. The limit bolt device is configured to have a limiting plate and a bolt, wherein the limiting plate is fixed to the side of the bed body 1 and is provided with a plurality of jacks, and the bolt is inserted into a jack to seize the rotation of the crankshaft 42.

Another structure of the lifting mechanism 4, as shown in Figure 3, is a special-shaped cam 44, wherein the special-shaped cam 44 has convexes and concaves in the radial direction and the outer peripheral edges of the special-shaped cam 44 press against the bottom of the middle section of the bedplate 32.

With rotation of the special-shaped cam 44, the contact position of the middle section of the bedplate 32 and the outer peripheral edges of the special-shaped cam 44 changes. When a convex on the special-shaped cam 44

2019100781 18 Jul 2019 contacts the middle section of the bedplate 32, the middle section of the bedplate 32 is jacked up, and when a concave contacts the middle section of the bedplate 32, the middle section of the bedplate 32 falls. By using the special-shaped cam 44, the rise or fall of the middle section of the bedplate 32 is 5 realized, thereby achieving the purpose of raising or suspending the massage recipient's waist and hips.

Referring to the bed body 1, the width in a conventional design is fixed, so it may be confined for massage recipients with a relatively large size and inconvenient for the massage. The invention provides improvement to the bed 0 body 1 in the left-right direction by giving the support frame of the bed body 1 in the left-right direction an extensible structure, such as plug-in square steel.

In addition, the bed legs 2 are arranged with a height adjustable structure, such as by providing a manual bolt under the bed leg and configuring the bed leg with electric telescopic link, so as to adapt to different massage recipients and 5 different operating requirements of massage therapists.

For different body parts to be massaged, especially the head, neck, hands and legs, the bed body 1 is provided with vertical support bars 5 and support bars 6 at the four corners, wherein the support bars 6 at the end of the head, neck and hands are arranged with a cross bar 61 at the upper end to facilitate 20 stretching; the support bars 5 at the end of the body legs are arranged with a support groove 51 at the upper end so that the massage recipient can rest his/her legs on the support groove 51.

The support bars 5 or support bars 6 are both extensible, and may be positioned right above the bed legs 2 so as to be withdrawn into the bed legs 2 25 when not in use.

While only preferred embodiments of the invention are given hereinabove, it will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that many improvements and

Claims

1. A massage bed, comprising a bed body with four legs and a bedplate positioned on the bed body, wherein, the bedplate consists of the front section, the middle section and the rear section, the bed body is fixed with a lifting

5 mechanism at the bottom and the upper end of the lifting mechanism presses against the bottom of the middle section of the bedplate.

2. A massage bed according to Claim 1, characterized in that the lifting mechanism comprises a crankshaft and a connecting rod, wherein the connecting rod is rotationally connected with the crankshaft at one end and

0 hinged with the bottom of the middle section of the bedplate at the other end.

3. A massage bed according to Claim 1, characterized in that the lifting mechanism is a special-shaped cam having convexes and concaves in the radial direction and pressing against the bottom of the middle section of the bedplate with the outer peripheral edges.

4. A massage bed according to Claim 2, characterized in that the lifting mechanism also includes a limit bolt device, wherein the limit bolt device limits the rotation position of the crankshaft.

5. A massage bed according to Claim 1, characterized in that the bed body has a left-right extensible structure.
