Description

COMPLETE SPECIFICATION
INNOVATION PATENT
UTILITY CUTTING TOOL
The following statement is a full description of the invention including the best method of performing it known to me.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Various embodiments of the present invention are disclosed herin below, which relate to a cutting tool consisting of two blades, each having a ring shape handle, that there sharp edges work one against the other, having a finger guard with a hollow body that surround the blades.
2019100060 21 Jan 2019
Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to the field of the painting and building industry, handyman and general public for home use, and more particulary, to a cutting tool to cut and remove the tip from the plastic stem on the top end of a liquid cartridge tube ready for use, such as no more gaps, liquid nails, silcone and any other cartridge that contain liquid substance which is released by a cork gun. The present invention is a safety device designed to avoid a laceration to a finger. The blades are concealed inside the tool, whereas a finger safety guard is attach to the external wall that surround the blades for protection. The device a cutting tool which can be opened and shut firmly against the tip of the plastic stem, whereas the blade slices and removes the tip of the stem ready to screw on a nozzle. The finger guards that protrude the external walls have a circular hollow body, whereas the stem on the top end of a cartridge tube is inserted inside the hollow body and loaded into position ready to remove the tip of the stem.
Comprising the present invention, a cutting instrument consisting of two blades, each having a ring shaped handle, that there sharp edges work one against the other, whereas has two safety guards to protect fingers from a laceration. Therefore as may be seen, various embodiments of the present invention as disclosed herinabove provide significant advantages over prior devices having a open blade having no protection againt an accident.
Generally, a variety of cutting tools are seen, thus, nowhere to be seen, none for liquid cartridge tubes that protect fingers from a laceration, such as a Stanley knife, with an open blade which has no protection from causing a unexpected accident. The present invention is an efficient cutting tool and a safety device. Accordingly, there remains a need for a safety device in the industry for innovative, efficent solution for providing a liquid cartridge cutting tool, which solves all the safety problems associated with devices with open blades.
The cutting tool is preferably made in accordance within the embodiment of the instant invention as a liquid cartridge tool, however can be used for cutting other suitable objects, such as soft tubing, thin electrical wiring, nozzle tip, whipper snipper cord and any other suitable material.
The finger guards are preferably made in accordance within the embodiment of the present invention, however can be made to any other suitable arrangement such as, having an internal thread concealed inside the finger guard to allow a stem to be screwed inside the safety guard and loaded into position ready to cut the tip from the stem, or can be made to any other suitable arrangement. Furthermore the finger guard can made to any other suitable shape such as, square or any other suitable arrangement.
2019100060 21 Jan 2019
The cutting tool is preferably made in accordance within the embodiment of the present invention, however can be made to any other suitable arrangement such as, a guillotine, sissor configuration or any other suitable method to cut and remove the stem tip on a liquid cartridge tube, including a battery operated arrangement, electrical device or machanical configuration. Furthermore the device can be made to any other shape such as, round, square or any other suitable shape or size.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, a cutting tool typically consisting of two blades, each having a ring shaped handle, that their sharp edges work one against the other, whereas the tool is opened by sliding the blades apart from the centre of the device until the blades are not visible, once the device is open the stem on the liquid cartridge tube is inserted inside the hollow circular body consealed inside the finger guard and loaded into position ready to cut and remove the tip from the stem, the blades are shut firm slightly above the top of the thread line, with a firm press of the handles the blade slits the plastic tip, with a twist of the device squeezing the the blades together cuts and removes the tip from the plastic stem ready to attach a nozzle.
The present invention is a safety device designed to avoid a finger wound, whereas the blades are concealed in a safe position in the centre of the device away from fingers with a safety guard that protrude the external wall on each side of the device, whereas either side of the device can be active for use. In accordance to the embodiment of the present invention, a group of material can be selected to make the device, however plastic and metal being the selected material being recyclable and environment friendly.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a cutting tool having two blades, each having a ring shape handle, that there sharp edges work one against the other, surrounding the blades are two circular finger guards having a hollow body to insert a liquid cartridge stem to load into position to cut and remove the tip from the stem. The device is designed for safe use to avoid a laceration to a finger.
Those of tradesmen and consumers will appreciate the various embodiments of the present invention may be embodied for various shapes and sizes, as for the need of users.
Therefore, as may be seen, varies embodiments of the present invention as discovered herin above provide significant advantages over prior devices. While there has been shown and described the preferred embodiment of the instant invention is to be appreciated that the invention maybe embodied otherwise than is herein Specifically shown and described and that, within said embodiment, certain changes may be made in the form and arrangement of parts without departing from the underlying ideas or principles of the invention as set forth in the Claims appended herewithin. Therefore, the appended claims are to be construed to cover all equivalents falling within the true scope and sprit of the invention.
