Abstract

A system or method for booking escorts which involves displaying escort profiles, receiving booking requests for selected escorts, sending the booking requests to the selected escorts, receiving booking acceptances from the selected escorts in response to the booking requests, sending booking confirmation notifications to the customers and the selected escorts, sending the deposit payment instructions to payment gateways to process deposit payments by the customers for the bookings in response to receiving either booking start notifications from the selected escorts that the bookings have started or booking no-show notifications from the selected escorts that the customers failed to show up for the bookings.

Description

ESCORT BOOKING METHOD AND SYSTEM
Field [0001] The present invention relates to an escort booking method and system.
Background [0002] Escort websites typically comprise web directories of profiles of independent adult escorts. The escort profiles include details about the escorts, such as verified photos, services, location, availability, rates, and reviews.
[0003] Most of these escort directories are adequate for selecting escorts, however they typically do not allow for booking of escorts. Typically escort services are booked through offline instant messaging, texts or emails between customers and escorts. Booking escorts using offline instant messaging is inefficient for both escorts and customers because they must each manually schedule and coordinate bookings. Such manual bookings quickly become unmanageable for both escorts and customers leading to a high number of customers failing to show up for their bookings. Such no shows result in wasted time and money for escorts. In addition, offline bookings present personal safety risks to escorts because safe completion of bookings cannot be independently monitored.
[0004] In this context, there is a need for improved online solutions for booking escorts.
Summary [0005] According to the present invention, there is provided a method for booking escorts, the method comprising:
displaying, by a server, escort profiles comprising photos, services, availability, rates, and reviews of escorts;
receiving, by the server, booking requests for selected escorts from customers based on the escort profiles, wherein the booking requests comprise dates, times, locations, services, and deposit payment instructions for bookings of the selected escorts;
sending, by the server, the deposit payment instructions to payment gateways to process deposit payments by the customers for the bookings;
sending, by the server, the booking requests to the selected escorts;

[0006] The method may further comprise storing, by the server, the bookings of the selected escorts in a bookings database.
[0007] The method may further comprise displaying, by the server, bookings dashboards to one or both of the selected escorts and the customers, wherein the bookings dashboards display pending bookings, completed bookings and booking noshows.
[0008] The method may further comprise generating, by the server, blacklists of the customers based at least in part on the booking no-shows.
[0009] The method may further comprise receiving, by the server, booking completion notifications from the selected escorts when the bookings have been completed.
[0010] The method may further comprise, if the booking completion notifications are not received within predetermined times after receiving the booking start notifications, sending, by the server, personal safety requests to the selected escorts.
[0011] The method may further comprise receiving, by the server, personal safety confirmation notifications from the selected escorts in response to the personal safety requests.
[0012] The method may further comprise, if the personal safety confirmation notifications are not received within predetermined times after sending the personal safety requests, sending, by the server, generating personal safety alerts for the selected escorts.
[0013] The present invention also provides a system for booking escorts, the system comprising:
a server configured to:
display escort profiles comprising photos, services, availability, rates, and reviews of escorts;

send the deposit payment instructions to payment gateways to process deposit payments by the customers for the bookings;
send the booking requests to the selected escorts;
if booking acceptances are received from the selected escorts in response to the booking requests, send booking confirmation notifications to the customers and the selected escorts.
[0014] The present invention further provides a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising computer-executable instructions for controlling installation of programs, including instructions for:
displaying escort profiles comprising photos, services, availability, rates, and reviews of escorts;
receiving booking requests for selected escorts from customers based on the escort profiles, wherein the booking requests comprise dates, times, locations, services, and deposit payment instructions for bookings of the selected escorts;
sending the deposit payment instructions to payment gateways to process deposit payments by the customers for the bookings;
sending the booking requests to the selected escorts;
if booking acceptances are received from the selected escorts in response to the booking requests, sending booking confirmation notifications to the customers and the selected escorts.

Description of Embodiments [0016] Referring to Figure 1, a system 100 for booking escorts may be implemented as web and/or mobile software applications comprising one or more computer program modules executable by one or more client devices 110 associated with customers and escorts as users of the system 100. The one or more customer and escort client devices 110 may communicate via a network with one or more servers 120 and associated databases 130. The customer and escort client devices 110 may comprise desktop computers, laptop computers, tablet computers, smartphones, and combinations thereof. The method 200 may be provided as SaaS (Software as a Service) to the escorts and the customers.
[0017] Figure 2 is a flowchart of an embodiment of a method 200 for booking escorts performed by the system 100. The method 200 starts at step 210 by the server 120 displaying escort profiles on customer client devices 110. The escort profiles may comprise photos, services, availability, rates, and reviews of escorts. The photos and the reviews may be verified by the provider of the SaaS. For example, the photos may month-year watermarked photos. The escort profiles may further comprise regulatory data relating to the escorts, such as registration numbers and valid sexual health certificates. Escort profiles may be removed or deactivated and not provided to the customers if their regulatory data is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. The provider of the SaaS may receive payments from the escorts for registering for the SaaS and displaying the escort profiles to the customers. Figure 3 is an example escort profile displayed by the system 100 and method 200. The escort profiles may be stored by the server 120 in an escort database 130.
[0018] Then, in step 220, the server 120 receives booking requests from the customers via the customer client devices 110 for selected escorts based on the escort profiles.
[0019] The booking requests may be generated by the customers manually selecting escorts that match their preferences manually based on the escort profiles. Further or
2018101740 17 Nov 2018 alternatively, the method 200 may further comprise creating customer profiles comprising preferences of the customers, for example, preferred services, locations, dates, locations, and durations. Then, the method 200 may further comprise the server 120 automatically sending recommendations of escorts having escort profiles that match the customer profiles. The privacy of the customers may be customer profiles may be protected by conventional data security techniques, such as data encryption and/or data anonymisation.
[0020] The booking requests may comprise dates, times, locations, and deposit payment instructions for bookings of the selected escorts. The booking requests may further comprise the customers' preferred types of services, for example, their top three preferred services. The deposit payment amounts may be selected by the escorts when registering for the SaaS, and may be based on a selected fixed payment amount or a selected percentage of full payment amounts for the bookings.
[0021] After this, in step 230, the server 120 sends the deposit payment instructions to one or more payment gateways to process deposit payments by the customers for the bookings. The provider of the SaaS may receive or retain a percentage of the processed deposit payments by the customers for providing the escort booking services. The provider of the SaaS may therefore act as a trusted third-party booking agent to hold deposits for the bookings which may help discourage no-shows by customers.
[0022] Next, in step 240, the server 120 sends the booking requests to the selected escorts via the escort user devices 110. Confirmations of the booking requests by the selected escorts may be treated as time sensitive, and the selected escorts may be required to accept or decline the booking requests within a predetermined time of receiving the booking requests, for example, within 24 hours or one hour, whichever is shorter.
[0023] Next, in step 250, if booking acceptances are received from the selected escorts via the escort user devices 110 in response to the booking requests, the server 120 sends booking confirmation notifications to the customers and the selected escorts via the customer user devices 110 and the escort user devices 110.
2018101740 17 Nov 2018 [0024] The method 200 may further comprise storing, by the server 120, the bookings of the selected escorts in a bookings database 130. The server 120 may further display bookings dashboards to one or both of the selected escorts and the customers via the escort user device 100 and/or the customer user device 110. The bookings dashboards may comprise booking calendars of confirmed bookings for the escorts and/or the customers. Further or alternatively, the server 120 may synchronise the bookings to calendar applications of the escorts and/or the customers. The bookings dashboards and the booking calendars may display pending bookings, completed bookings and booking no-shows. As such, the booking services provided by the method 200 and system 100 may act as a digital or virtual personal assistant to the escorts. Figure 4 is an example bookings dashboard or calendar displayed by the system 100 and method 200.
[0025] The method 200 may further comprise generating, by the server 120, blacklists of the customers based at least in part on the booking no-shows. The customer blacklists may be displayed by the server 120 to the escorts via the escort client devices 110.
[0026] The method 200 may further comprise receiving, by the server 120, booking completion notifications from the selected escorts via the escort client devices 110 when the bookings have been completed. Receipt of the booking completion notifications may be used to trigger the provider of the SaaS to release the deposit payments to the selected escorts. If the booking completion notifications are not received within predetermined times (eg, the booking durations plus buffer durations) after receiving booking start notifications from the selected escorts, the server 120 may send personal safety requests to the selected escorts via the escort client devices 110. The personal safety requests may, for example, comprise instant messages, emails, texts, or phone calls to the selected escorts. Then, the server 120 may receive personal safety confirmation notifications from the selected escorts via the escort client devices 110 in response to the personal safety requests. If the personal safety confirmation notifications are not received within predetermined times after sending the personal safety requests, the server 120 may generate personal safety alerts for the selected escorts. The personal safety alerts may be sent to the provider of the SaaS to manually contact a security service to the booking locations to verify the personal safety of the selected escorts.

  1. Claims
    1. A method for booking escorts, the method comprising:
    displaying, by a server, escort profiles comprising photos, services, availability, rates, and reviews of escorts;
    receiving, by the server, booking requests for selected escorts from customers based on the escort profiles, wherein the booking requests comprise dates, times, locations, services, and deposit payment instructions for bookings of the selected escorts;
    sending, by the server, the booking requests to the selected escorts;
    if booking acceptances are received from the selected escorts in response to the booking requests, sending, by the server, booking confirmation notifications to the customers and the selected escorts;
    sending, by the server, the deposit payment instructions to payment gateways to process deposit payments by the customers for the bookings in response to receiving: booking start notifications from the selected escorts that the bookings have started; or booking no-show notifications from the selected escorts that the customers failed to show up for the bookings.
  2. 2. The method of claim 1 further comprising storing, by the server, the bookings of the selected escorts in a bookings database.
  3. 3. The method of claim 1, further comprising displaying, by the server, bookings dashboards to one or both of the selected escorts and the customers, wherein the bookings dashboards display pending bookings, completed bookings and booking noshows.
  4. 4. The method of claim 3, further comprising generating, by the server, blacklists of the customers based at least in part on the booking no-shows.
  5. 5. The method of claim 1, further comprising receiving, by the server, booking completion notifications from the selected escorts when the bookings have been completed.

  8. 8. The method of claim 7, further comprising, if the personal safety confirmation notifications are not received within predetermined times after sending the personal safety requests, sending, by the server, generating personal safety alerts for the selected escorts.
  9. 9. A system for booking escorts, the system comprising:
    a server configured to:
    display escort profiles comprising photos, services, availability, rates, and reviews of escorts;
    receive booking requests for selected escorts from customers based on the escort profiles, wherein the booking requests comprise dates, times, locations, services, and deposit payment instructions for bookings of the selected escorts;
    send the booking requests to the selected escorts;
    if booking acceptances are received from the selected escorts in response to the booking requests, send booking confirmation notifications to the customers and the selected escorts;
    send the deposit payment instructions to payment gateways to process deposit payments by the customers for the bookings in response to receiving: booking start notifications from the selected escorts that the bookings have started; or booking no-show notifications from the selected escorts that the customers failed to show up for the bookings.
  10. 10. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising computerexecutable instructions for controlling installation of programs, including instructions for:
