Description

BACKGROUND
The present invention is related to a metal glass building, specifically a sunroom.
Waterproofing metal and glass buildings, such as a sunroom, has always been a key problem. At present, glass cement is generally used as the sealant between the metal frame and the glass panel for a building of this kind. However, when the building is exposed to sun and rain, and is used for a period of time, the glass cement between the glass panel and the metal frame is apt to aging and is prone to water leaking in rainy weather, significantly reducing the service life of the building. Current sunrooms are not windproof, and the operable leaf may shake violently in a strong wind, dislodging from the track and resulting in security threats. The operable leaf of the existing metal and glass buildings is motor-driven. The motor gear is always in a coupled mode whether the motor is turned on or off; if the motor is turned off, then the gear may not achieve the variable speed rotation by external force.
SUMMARY
The present invention provides an easy-to-operate sunroom with good waterproofing and windproof effects. The operable leaf of the sunroom may be moved by an external force in case the power is turned off.
To achieve the above purpose, we equipped the sunroom of the present invention with several angled or arched operable leafs (300) in ascending order of size, and it comes with two twin tracks (100). The left and right sides of the operable leaf (300) are respectively embedded in two rows of twin tracks (100) with the wheelsets (500). Any of the operable leafs (300) is movable on the twin track (100).
2017268671 01 Dec 2017
Moreover, it is fitted with fixed leafs (200) in the same shape as the operable leaf (300) and is embedded in the smallest operable leafs (300) or coupled with the biggest operable leafs (300). Both the fixed leafs (200) and the operable leaf (300) contain glass panels (323) and the motor (400). The wheelsets (500) on at least one 5 side of any operable leafs (300) are coupled with the power input shaft (410) of the motor (400). The power input shaft (411), the transfer shaft (412), the movable shaft (420), and the coupling shaft (413) are engaged with each other via the gear and are connected in turn between the motor (400) and the power input shaft (410). The movable shaft (420) is not fixed, and the engagement or dislocation of the gear on it 0 and that on the transfer shaft (412) is adjusted by moving the movable shaft (420) vertically.
For the sunroom with one side of the angled operable leaf (300) fixed to the wall with the twin track (100), the twin track (100) on the wall consists of several profiled twin tracks (110) in parallel and the leakproof profile (120) under the profiled track (110). The wheelsets (500) are buckled on the profiled track (110), and the leakproof profile (120) is loaded with the upward opening that faces the aperture between the profiled track (110) and the operable leaf (300), together with the vertical hollow-profiled gutter (130) that is connected to both sides of the leakproof profile (120).
Furthermore, one side of the motor (400) carries the travel switch (430), and the twin track (100) is complete with the stopper (700). The travel of the operable leaf (300) is driven by the motor (400) under the common action of the travel switch (430) and the stopper (700).
Moreover, the operable leaf (300) is framed with several girders (310) and the crossbeam (320). The glass panel (323) is fastened between the girder (310)
2017268671 01 Dec 2017 and the crossbeam (320). The motor (400) is furnished between the two girders (310) of the lower part of the operable leaf (300). The cover (440) is buckled outside the motor (400). The cover (440) and the girder (310) are connected using the fixing piece (450) for the motor cover.
Furthermore, the corner bracket (312) is set at the corner of the two girders (310). Both sides of the corner bracket (312) are respectively embedded in the girders (310). The corner bracket (312) contains the spliced eye (313). The girder (310) contains the bolts (314). With the use of the spliced eye (313) and the bolt (314), the corner bracket (312) and the girder (310) are connected. The girder (310) also contains the screw cover (315) over the bolts (314).
The girder (310) also contains the buckle groove (311). The crossbeam (320) is vertically buckled in the buckle groove (311) and furnished with the buckle lobe (321). The glass panel (323) is fixed between the crossbeam (320) and the buckle lobe (321).
Furthermore, the buckle (324) is located between the crossbeam (320) and the buckle lobe (321). The glass panel (323) is fixed between the buckle (324) and the crossbeam (320).
Moreover, the bottom of one of the girders (310) of the operable leaf (300) is connected to the windproof hook (800). The twin track (100) contains the windproof groove (600). When the sunroom is folded, the windproof hook (800) is placed in the windproof groove (600). The bottom of another girder (310) of the operable leaf (300) is connected to the windproof sliding assembly (900) that is connected to the girder (310) by using the connecting plate (920) and also contains the sliding groove (910). The twin track (100) is buckled in the sliding groove (910),
2017268671 01 Dec 2017 the middle part of which carries the movable wheelsets (930) that run on the twin track (100).
The adjoining profile (330) with the waterproof member (340) is buckled at the adjoining point of two operable leafs (300) that move in opposite directions.
The present invention provides a sunroom that contains the fixed leaf and the operable leaf; the former is fixed, whereas the latter is movable relative to the former. The operable leafs are arranged side by side on the track. When the sunroom is unfolded, the operable leaf moving on the track is connected to the fixed leafs in turn, thus significantly saving room for operable leafs. When the sunroom is 0 folded, the operable leaf and the fixed leaf provide the windproof and waterproof building with an accommodating space. A stable connection relationship exists between the motor for the traditional sunroom and the operable leaf; when the power is turned off, the motor may not run, let alone enable the operable leaf to move. However, in the present invention, the connection between the operable leaf and the 5 motor is flexibly adjustable, and if the power is turned off, then the engagement or dislocation of the gears may be achieved by adjusting the movable shaft vertically, thus avoiding the alteration of the sunroom. The windproof groove on the track and the windproof hook on the operable leaf jointly fasten the operable leaf to the track firmly, preventing the operable leaf from dislodging and improving the security 20 performance. The waterproof metal components between the operable leafs prevent the service life of the sunroom from being affected by the aging of waterproof components, such as adhesive tapes.

Embodiment 1
As Figs. 1,2, 3, 9, 10, and 11 show, the sunroom in this embodiment consists of several angled or arched operable leafs (300) in ascending order of size
2017268671 01 Dec 2017 and furnished with two rows of twin tracks (100). Both the left and right sides of the operable leafs (300) are respectively set in the two rows of twin tracks (100) via the wheelsets (500). Any of the operable leafs (300) are movable on the twin track (100). Furthermore, the sunroom contains the fixed leafs (200), which have the same 5 shape as the operable leaf (300), and embedded in the smallest operable leafs (300) or connected with the biggest operable leafs (300). Both the fixed leafs (200) and the operable leaf (300) contain glass panels (323). The motor (400) is furnished. The wheelsets (500) on at least one side of any operable leaf (300) are connected to the power input shaft (410) of the motor (400). The power input shaft (411), the transfer 0 shaft (412), the movable shaft (420), and the coupling shaft (413) that are engaged with each other via the gear are connected in turn between the motor (400) and the power input shaft (410). The movable shaft (420) is not fixed. The engagement or dislocation of the gear on the movable shaft (420) and that on the transfer shaft (412) is adjusted by adjusting the movable shaft (420) vertically.
The operable leaf (300) is arched with two rows of twin tracks (100) on the ground, forming a water- and windproof space with the ground. It moves via the wheelsets (500) on the twin track (100) relative to the fixed leafs (200), thereby achieving the folding or unfolding of the sunroom. The operable leaf (300) is driven by the motor (400). The power input shaft (410) is connected with the wheelsets 20 (500). When the movable shaft (420) moves up, the gear on the shaft is engaged with that on the transfer shaft (412) so that the motor (400) could drive the operable leaf (300). When the movable shaft (420) moves down, the gear on the shaft is dislocated from that on the conversion shaft. Thus, the motor (400) stops driving, and the operable leaf (300) moves by external force without being hindered by the 25 passive rotation of the motor (400). This feature solves the problem of the motor
2017268671 01 Dec 2017 gears of traditional sunrooms being always coupled, thereby improving the user experience.
Embodiment 2
As Figs. 4 and 5 show, this embodiment based on Embodiment 1 changes 5 the operable leaf (300) into a folded type with one of the two rows of twin tracks (100) on the ground and the other one on the wall, forming a water- and windproof space enclosed by the ground, the wall, and the operable leaf (300). For the folded sunroom, one side of the operable leaf (300) is fixed to the wall via the twin track (100). The twin track (100) on the wall consists of several profiled tracks (110) in 0 parallel and the leakproof profile (120) under the profiled track (110). The wheelsets (500) are buckled on the profiled track (110), and the leakproof profile (120) possesses an upward opening that faces the aperture between the profiled track (110) and the operable leaf (300). Moreover, it is connected to the vertical hollowprofiled gutter (130) that is connected with both sides of the leakproof profile (120).
This method achieves the waterproof function of the folded sunroom. The opening of the leakproof profile (120) faces the aperture between the profiled track (110) and the operable leaf (300). It allows rainwater to fall into the leakproof profile (120) and protects the sunroom from water leakage because the water falls to the ground along the vertical-profiled gutter (130). Thus, the sunroom is protected from rainwater. In 20 addition, the sunroom in this embodiment can be installed on the wall, thereby having a wider range of applications.
Embodiment 3
As Fig. 6 shows, one side of the motor (400) comes equipped with a travel switch (430); the twin track (100) comes complete with a stopper (700). The travel of the operable leaf (300) is driven by the motor (400) under the common action of the
2017268671 01 Dec 2017 travel switch (430) and the stopper (700). The action sphere of the operable leaf (300) must be limited. Otherwise, an opening might appear between the operable leafs (300), and the water-/windproof purposes may not be achieved. As such, the travel of the operable leaf (300) is under the common control of the stopper (700) and the travel switch (430). The travel switch (430) is electrically connected to the motor (400), controlling the operations of the motor (400).
Embodiment 4
As shown in Figs. 1-8, in this embodiment, the operable leaf (300) is framed with several girders (310) and the crossbeam (320). The glass panel (323) is 0 buckled between the girder (310) and the crossbeam (320). The motor (400) is furnished between the two girders (310) of the lower part of the operable leaf (300). The cover (440) is fastened outside the motor (400) and is connected to the girder (310) using the fixing piece (450) for the motor cover. The motor (400) is enclosed with the cover (440), thereby achieving the waterproofing and sunscreening 5 purposes.
Embodiment 5
As shown in Figs. 15 and 16, the corner bracket (312) is located at the corner of the two girders (310), both sides of which are respectively embedded in the girder (310). The corner bracket (312) contains the spliced eye (313). The girder (310) contains the bolts (314). The corner bracket (312) and the girder (310) are fixed under the common action of the spliced eye (313) and the bolts (314). The girder (310) is also supplied with the screw cover (315) that spreads over the bolts (314). The corner bracket (312) has the spliced eye (313) that is used with the bolts (314) to fix the corner of the two girders (310).
Embodiment 6
2017268671 01 Dec 2017
As shown in Figs. 12, 13, in this embodiment, the girder (310) is also equipped with a buckle groove (311). The crossbeam (320) is vertically engaged in the buckle groove (311) together with the buckle lobe (321). The glass panel (323) is fixed between the crossbeam (320) and the buckle lobe (321).
Embodiment 7
As shown in Fig. 14, this embodiment is modified on the basis of Embodiment 5. The buckle (324) is placed between the crossbeam (320) and the buckle lobe (321), and the glass panel (323) is fixed between the buckle (324) and the crossbeam (320). Extra buckles (324) reduce the thickness of the spacing and 0 also the thickness of the glass panel (323) between the buckle (324) and the crossbeam (320). Embodiments 5 and 6 are applicable to the glass panel of different thicknesses (323).
Embodiment 8
As shown in Fig. 1, the bottom of one of the crossbeams (310) of the 5 operable leaf (300) is connected with the windproof hook (800); the twin track (100) contains the windproof groove (600). When the sunroom is folded, the windproof hook (800) is placed in the windproof groove (600). The bottom of another girder (310) of the operable leaf (300) is connected to the windproof sliding assembly (900) that is connected to the girder (310) by using the connecting plate (920). The windproof sliding assembly (900) is also fitted with the sliding groove (910). The twin track (100) is buckled in the sliding groove (910), the middle part of which carries the movable wheelsets (930) that run on the twin track (100). When the sunroom is folded, the windproof groove (600) is hooked with the windproof hook (800) without any vertical displacement between the operable leaf (300) and the twin track (100), and one side of the operable leaf (300) is not detached from the twin track (100)
2017268671 01 Dec 2017 ίο without external force. Another side of the operable leaf (300) may be fixed by sliding By using the windproof sliding assembly (900), we fixed the operable leaf (300) on the twin track (100). The twin track (100) is semi-enclosed by and buckled in the sliding groove (910) so that the fixed leafs (300) or the twin track (100) could not produce vertical deviation. The movable wheelsets (930) ensure that the operable leaf (300) moves continuously on the track. As shown in Figs. 17 and 18, the adjoining profile (330) with the waterproof member (340) is buckled at the adjoining point of two operable leafs (300) that are movable in opposite directions. The waterproof and drainage functions can be achieved under the common action of the adjoining profile (330) and the waterproof member (340).
