Newness and distinctiveness resides in the features of shape and/or configuration of the cannula pad as shown in solid lines in the representations. The features shown in broken lines are illustrative of perforation lines and do not form a part of the design. Surface contour lines (the parallel dash-dot lines) are used only to show the character or contour of the surfaces of the design represented and are an artefact of the US priority application in which such contour lines must be adopted under US law.
