Abstract
A new method of cosmetic eyebrow tattooing technique is herein disclosed where a practitioner firstly cuts incisions into the skin, cleans off of the subsequent blood prior to application of the tattoo ink, and then applies the tattoo ink to the cleaned area. The manner in which the ink is applied via the stretching of the skin area further represents a novel technique along with the required waiting time results in clear and defined tattooing of the eyebrow area that is more efficient and significantly less-prone to blurring.

INNOVATION PATENT APPLICATION SYDNEY COLLEGE OF HAIR BEAUTY & MAKE UP PTY LTD 399 Pacific Hwy, Crows Nest NSW 2065 Australia
INVENTOR: MS ZAHRA NADERI INVENTION TITLE: “A new method of cosmetic eyebrow tattooing to minimise the occurrence of blurred or ill-defined tattoos”
DESCRIPTION OF INNOVATIVE EYEBROW TATTOING TECHNIQUE
For many years cosmetic surgeons and practitioners have been involved in the practice of cosmetic eyebrow tattooing by which ink is applied to exposed and subsequently cut skin as to provide permanent tattoos that resemble eyebrow hair.
The standard method of cosmetic eyebrow tattooing involves a process in which the practitioner firstly applies the tattoo ink across the requisite area and then, using a macro blade, cuts incisions into the skin area that requires the tattoo.
Such a technique can result in the ink mixing with blood thereby unintentionally causing the tattooed area to become blurred and undefined. Such a process undermines the entire procedure and results in often a sub-standard result for the client. This potential blurring is noted as a necessary hazard to the cosmetic eyebrow tattooing procedure.
The technique described in this innovation patent takes these original concepts but, due to its sequential steps and hand techniques, minimises the tattoo ink's exposure (and therefore mixing) with the blood so that the resultant tattoo does not blur but remains defined. This therefore provides higher quality results and consistency for the practitioners of cosmetic eyebrow tattooing.
This is achieved by firstly cutting incisions into the skin and cleaning off of the subsequent blood prior to application of the tattoo ink. Secondly, the manner in which the ink is applied via the stretching of the skin area furthermore represents a novel technique along with the required waiting time results in clear and defined tattooing of the eyebrow area that is more efficient and significantly less-prone to blurring.
The specific sequence of steps required in this technique is as follows: STEP 1. Use sterilised gloves prior to beginning process STEP 2. Use a make-up pencil to draw the brow on the client STEP 3. Use a macro blade to cut incisions (or channels) into the skin of the client in the pattern of natural eye-brow hairs STEP 4. Clean the blood released from the channels with sterilised tissues or wipes STEP 5. Use a micro-brush to paint tattoo ink across the eye-brow area in which the channels have been cut 2017100420 12 Apr 2017 STEP 6. Use fingers of other hand to stretch skin area surrounding the channels to open these channels open further and use micro-brush to ensure tattoo ink is pushed into the stretched channels STEP 7. Release fingers from stretching the eye-brow area STEP 8. Wait 3 minutes STEP 9. Use a sterilised tissue to clean excess tattoo ink from the eye-brow area

- INNOVATION PATENT APPLICATION SYDNEY COLLEGE OF HAIR BEAUTY & MAKE UP PTY LTD 399 Pacific Hwy, Crows Nest NSW 2065 Australia INVENTOR: MS ZAHRA NADERI INVENTION TITLE: “A new method of cosmetic eyebrow tattooing to minimise the occurrence of blurred or ill-defined tattoos” CLAIMS FOR INNOVATIVE EYEBROW TATTOING TECHNIQUE The claims defining the innovation are as follows:1. An eyebrow tattooing technique in which firstly, a practitioner cuts a series of incisions into the skin of the eyebrow area ; secondly, cleans the resultant blood; and thirdly, then applies the tattoo ink to that cleaned area.
- 2. The eyebrow tattooing technique claimed in claim 1 that that minimises the tattoo ink's exposure to blood as to thereby prevent blurring of the resultant tattoo.
- 3. The eyebrow tattooing technique claimed in claim 1 that utilises a macro-blade to cut incisions into the eyebrow area and subsequently uses a micro-brush to apply the tattoo ink to the clean and bloodless skin area.
- 4. The eyebrow technique as claimed in claim 3 the tattoo ink is applied by stretching the incisions made to the skin whilst simultaneously applying the tattoo ink.
