Its an interactive educational tool to orient the player on average player earnings, the cost of living at the host country, foreign culture, player’s can calculate their net income, access player agents and agent rating, access to mentors, international contracted player reviews, money management, insurance! It will have a rich database of frequently asked questions and players can preview and gain digital insight and 3D digital preview of a daily routine in the life of a professional rugby player. This digitized 3D animation orientation mentally prepares a young Pacific Islander as he advances into the real international rugby arena.
In addition, players can optimize their settings to link their e-portfolio! map their career pathway and network. An ideal opportunity for an economic individual level playing field.
This will form part of my research project and was initiated through the learnings from the Masters of Business and Administration, Strategic Entrepreneurship and Innovation unit with Swinburne University.
It is intended that this APP will be officially recognised by the Australian Rugby Union and internationally. A business model is in progress in the development of the “RugbyStart” APP. It will be made available for purchase via the Android and Apple app shop and relevant rugby club sites.

This will form part of my research project and was initiated through the learnings from the Masters of Business and Administration, Strategic Entrepreneurship and Innovation unit with Swinburne University. It is intended that this APP will be an officially recognised by the Australian Rugby Union and internationally and work is in progress to build this APP. It will be made available for purchase via the Android and Apple app shop and relevant rugby club sites. More research into how the business will generate revenue and in-app purchases is currently being developed.
