Abstract
A fork truck tine cover for addressing Occupational Health and Safety concerns. The tine cover is constructed from high visibility yellow coloured rubber. The high visibility colour is easily seen allowing preventative action and the rubber material softer contact minimising injury. Forklift safety sleeve Summary of invention Technical problem.
Forklift tines are made from steel and pose a safety risk Solution to the problem.
Designed in rubber to be used in any workshop or on sight to offer protection to workers, repairers. For Occupational health and safety concerns.
This is used to prevent, reduce personal injury to anyone that comes into contact with the forklift tines, and is in bright yellow to stand out and be seen in the workplace or on sight whilst work is being carried out.
It attaches to the sides and tip of the tine and easily fitted and is reusable.
Held in place by magnets which are attached to the rubber Advantageous Effects of Invention
Product is made in rubber, for a softer contact upon contact, minimizing work place injury should a person come into contact with the tine.

Claims (6)
1. A safety sleeve that fits to the end and sides of the forklift tine and is held in place by magnets
2. A rubber forklift safety sleeve according to claim 1 the rubber end tip cover, sleeve fits the top or bottom of the forklift tine, if the forklift tine is up off the ground/ floor it can be placed against the underside of the tine for safety protection should a person or item come into contact with the tine.
3. The side tine sleeve according to claim 1, fits to the side with magnets and stops the tip from moving side to side, holding it in place.
4. The side tine sleeve can also be fitted to the underside of the tine when the tine is off the ground/ floor for safety protection should a person or an item come into contact with the tine.
5. A safety sleeve tip end according to claim 1 suits well into the workplace safety code "Work Safe OH&S" in a workplace minimizing the employer's risk should a person or item come into contact with the tine.
6. The side tine sleeve will also suit a metal edge where impact protection is required.
