Abstract

A modular pillow formed by a plurality of independent unit packages is disclosed. At least one side surface of each of the unit packages is provided with a connector. Any two of the unit packages are capable of being connected with each other through the connector. Each of the unit packages is of a type selected from the group consisting of neck protection package, shoulder protection package, a package for sleeping on side and a package for sleeping on back. Each type of the unit package includes a plurality of models of gradually-changing sizes and/or hardness. The modular pillow can functionally partition the pillow based on human engineering in combination with dimensional proportion of various parts of the human body, and separately design each independent partition to form a unit package including a plurality of types of different structures, sizes and materials. In this way, the user can select suitable unit packages to implement the free combination according to his/her own conditions or sleeping habits, to obtain a pillow fitting in with the individualized demands.

Description

MODULAR PILLOW FIELD 5 The present disclosure relates to the field of health pillow, and more particularly, to a modular pillow. BACKGROUND Most of the traditional pillows are generally integrally formed with a single type of 0 material inside. This single material, however, cannot provide accurate supporting strength for different sleeping postures under different physical conditions. Although some pillows are designed into different areas based on different sleeping postures, they can only offer height differences, rather than creating different sleep feelings in different areas to satisfy the users' personalized sleep needs. The function areas of a pillow mainly include a head-supporting 5 portion and a shoulder-neck-supporting portion. Due to individual differences in the dimension and weight proportion of head to shoulder and neck, as well as the subjective factors of the users' sleeping habits, the traditional pillows cannot precisely meet the requirements of every single user. 0O SUMMARY Based on above, the objective of the present disclosure is to provide a modular pillow, which can meet requirements of different users. The present disclosure provides a modular pillow formed by a plurality of independent unit packages. At least one side surface of each of the unit packages is provided with a 25 connector, and any two of the unit packages may be connected with each other through the connector. Each of the unit packages is of a type selected from a group including a neck protection package, a shoulder protection package, a package for sleeping on side and a package for sleeping on back, and each type of the unit package includes a plurality of models with gradually-changing sizes and/or hardness. 30 In one embodiment, part of the unit packages are formed by a plurality of connection portions, and the connection portions are connected through the connector. In one embodiment, the connector is selected from the group consisting of button, zipper, buckle, velcro and stitching.
In one embodiment, the unit package is filled with at least one elastomeric cushion material of down feather, fiber, comfortable sponge, latex cushion and polyethylene tube, and each type of the unit packages includes a plurality of models filled with different elastomeric cushion materials. 5 In one embodiment, the modular pillow includes one neck protection package, two packages for sleeping on side and one package for sleeping on back, the packages for sleeping on side and the package for sleeping on back are arranged on a same side of the neck protection package, and the package for sleeping on back is located between the two packages for sleeping on side. 0 In one embodiment, the neck protection package is of a cuboid shape with smooth transition structures at corners, and the neck protection package includes a plurality of models with dimensions of 60 to 80cm x 5 to 10cm x 5 to 10cm. In one embodiment, the package for sleeping on back includes two models filled with down feather and fibers respectively, and each of the packages for sleeping on side is filled 5 with a plurality of the elastomeric cushion materials. In one embodiment, each of the packages for sleeping on side is filled with polyethylene tube, latex cushion, fiber and latex cushion from one side surface to the other side surface. In one embodiment, each of the packages for sleeping on side is filled with comfortable sponge, down feather and comfortable sponge from one side surface to the other side surface. 0O In one embodiment, the modular pillow includes one neck protection package, two shoulder protection packages, two packages for sleeping on side and one package for sleeping on back, the neck protection package is located between the two shoulder protection packages, the package for sleeping on back is located between the two packages for sleeping on side, the packages for sleeping on side are connected to the shoulder protection packages 25 correspondingly, and the package for sleeping on back is connected to the neck protection package correspondingly. The modular pillow according to the present disclosure can functionally partition the pillow based on human engineering in combination with dimensional proportion of various parts of the human body, and separately design each independent partition to form a unit 30 package including a plurality of types of different structures, sizes and materials. In this way, the user can select suitable unit packages to implement the free combination according to his/her own conditions or sleeping habits, to obtain a pillow fitting in with the individualized demands.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS 0 In the following description of embodiments, reference is made to the accompanying drawings which form a part hereof, and in which it is shown by way of illustration specific embodiments of the disclosure that can be practiced It is to be understood that other embodiments can be used and structural changes can be made without departing from the scope of the disclosed embodiments. 5 When a feature or element is herein referred to as being "fasten on" another feature or element, it can be directly on the other feature or element or intervening features and/or elements may also be present. When a feature or element is herein referred to as being "connected to" another feature or element, it can be connected directly to the other feature or element or intervening features and/or elements may also be present. 0O Unless otherwise specified, all terminologies and scientific terms used herein have the same meaning as normal sense understood by a technical person belonging to the technical field of the present disclosure. The terms used herein is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of the present disclosure. As used herein, the term "and/or" includes any and all combinations of one or more of the 25 associated listed items and may be abbreviated as "/". A modular pillow is provided, formed by a plurality of independent unit packages. At least one side surface of each of the unit packages is provided with a connector. Any two of the unit packages are able to be connected with each other through the connector. Each of the unit packages has a type selected from the group consisting of neck protection package, 30 shoulder protection package, a package for sleeping on side and a package for sleeping on back. Each type of the unit package includes a plurality of models of gradually-changing sizes and/or hardness. As shown in FIG. 1, in the embodiment, part of the unit packages 10 are formed by a plurality of connection portions 11. The connection portion 11 is provided with the above connector 12. The corresponding two connection portions 11 can be connected to form a unit package 11 through the connector 12, or disassembled to connect with other unit packages to form a modular pillow through the connectors 12 in concert with each other. It can be understood that the connector may include but not be limited to fastener, zipper, 5 buckle, velcro and stitching. The unit package may be filled with at least one elastomeric cushion material of down feather, fiber (for example, superfine fiber of strength below 0.3-denier or 15 D chemical fiber), comfortable sponge (for example, memory foam in pieces), latex cushion and polyethylene tube. Each of the unit packages is filled with a plurality of models. 0 Details of the structure of the modular pillow are provided in greater detail below. Example One As shown in FIG. 2, the modular pillow 100 includes one neck protection package 110, two packages for sleeping on side 120 and one package for sleeping on back 130. The 5 packages for sleeping on side 120 and the package for sleeping on back 130 are arranged on a same side of the neck protection package 110, and the package for sleeping on back 130 is located between the two packages for sleeping on side 120. The neck protection package 110, the packages for sleeping on side 120 and the package for sleeping on back 130 are connected together with the buckles. 0O The neck protection package 110 is of a cuboid shape with smooth transition structures at corners. The neck protection package 110 includes a plurality of models of 60-80cm x 5~10cm x 5~10cm, for example, 60cm x 10cm x 10cm, 60cm x 8cm x 8cm and 60cm x 6cm x 6cm. Each of the packages for sleeping on side 120 is filled with a plurality of the elastomeric 25 cushion materials to form models of different hardness. For example, in one model, the package for sleeping on side 120 is filled with polyethylene tube, latex cushion, fiber and latex cushion from one side surface to the other side surface. And for another example, the package for sleeping on side 120 is filled with comfortable sponge, down feather and comfortable sponge from one side surface to the other side surface. 30 The package for sleeping on back 130 includes two models filled with down feather and fibers respectively. The neck protection package 110 has a height higher than that of the package for sleeping on side 120 and the package for sleeping on back 130, and the package for sleeping on side 120 has a height higher than that of the package for sleeping on back 130, to satisfy the human body engineering principle that when the user is sleeping, the spine and the cervical vertebra can be substantially in a line whether the user is sleeping on side or on back, so as to improve the user's comfort. 5 Example Two As shown in FIG. 2, the modular pillow 200 as illuminated includes one neck protection package 210, two shoulder protection packages 220, two packages for sleeping on side 230 and one package for sleeping on back 240. The neck protection package 210 is located between the two shoulder protection packages 220. The package for sleeping on back 240 is 0 located between the two packages for sleeping on side 230. The packages for sleeping on side 230 are connected to the two shoulder protection packages 220 correspondingly, and the package for sleeping on back 240 is connected to the neck protection package 210 correspondingly. Each of the neck protection package 210, the shoulder protection packages 220 and the 5 package for sleeping on back 240 is filled with a plurality of the elastomeric cushion materials, with different models and sizes, to facilitate the user to select suitable unit packages to combine according to his/her own conditions or sleeping habits to obtain a pillow fitting in with the individualized demands. Two combinations are provided in the above two examples, but it can be understood that, 0 in other embodiments, the structure of the modular pillow may be not limited to the description of the Example One and Example Two. Each unit package has connectors that these unit packages can be combined and connected freely according to the user's own requirements, to provide accurate and comfortable supporting for sleeping. The modular pillow can functionally partition the pillow based on human engineering in 25 combination with dimensional proportion of various parts of the human body, and separately design each independent partition to form a unit package including a plurality of types of different structures, sizes and materials. In this way, the user can select suitable unit packages to implement the free combination according to his/her own conditions or sleeping habits, to obtain a pillow fitting in with the individualized demands. 30 The above are preferred embodiments of the present disclosure described in detail, and should not be deemed as limitations to the scope of the present disclosure. It should be noted that variations and improvements will become apparent to those skilled in the art to which the present disclosure pertains without departing from its spirit and scope. Therefore, the scope of the present disclosure is defined by the appended claims.

Claims (10)

1. A modular pillow, formed by a plurality of independent unit packages, wherein at least one side surface of each of the unit packages is provided with a connector, any two of the unit packages are capable of being connected with each other through the connector, each of the unit packages is of a type selected from the group including neck protection package, shoulder protection package, a package for sleeping on side and a package for sleeping on back, and each type of the unit package comprises a plurality of models of gradually-changing sizes and/or hardness.
2. The modular pillow of claim 1, wherein part of the unit packages are formed by a plurality of connection portions, and the connection portions are connected through the connector.
3. The modular pillow of claim 1, wherein the connector is selected from the group consisting of button, zipper, buckle, velcro and stitching.
4. The modular pillow of claim 1, wherein each of the unit packages is filled with at least one elastomeric cushion material of down feather, fiber, comfortable sponge, latex cushion and polyethylene tube, and each type of the unit packages includes a plurality of models filled with different elastomeric cushion materials.
5. The modular pillow of claim 1, comprising one neck protection package, two packages for sleeping on side and one package for sleeping on back, wherein the packages for sleeping on side and the package for sleeping on back are arranged on a same side of the neck protection package, and the package for sleeping on back is located between the two packages for sleeping on side.
6. The modular pillow of claim 5, wherein the neck protection package is of a cuboid shape with smooth transition structures at corners, and the neck protection package includes a plurality of models with dimensions of 60-80cm x 5~10cm x 5~10cm.
7. The modular pillow of claim 5 or 6, wherein the package for sleeping on back includes two models filled with down feather and fibers respectively, and the packages for sleeping on side is filled with a plurality of elastomeric cushion materials which are at least one of down feather, fiber, comfortable sponge, latex cushion and polyethylene tube.
8. The modular pillow of claim 7, wherein each of the packages for sleeping on side is filled with polyethylene tube, latex cushion, fiber and latex cushion from one side surface to the other side surface.
9. The modular pillow of claim 7, wherein each of the packages for sleeping on side is filled with comfortable sponge, down feather and comfortable sponge from one side surface to the other side surface.
10. The modular pillow of claim 1, comprising one neck protection package, two shoulder protection packages, two packages for sleeping on side and one package for sleeping on back, wherein the neck protection package is located between the two shoulder protection packages, the package for sleeping on back is located between the two packages for sleeping on side, the packages for sleeping on side are connected to the shoulder protection packages correspondingly, and the package for sleeping on back is connected to the neck protection package correspondingly.
