Description

Non-Slippage, Non-Scratch & Non-Heat Damage Device FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to a Non-Slippage, Non-Scratch & Non-Heat Damage Device to prevent movement and/or slippage of an article or item on a surface such as a cutting board on a surface of a bench and also protects from heat and scratches.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
Every chef and passionate cook is faced with a sliding cutting board. Usually to stabilize that cutting surface, a cloth or paper towel is commonly used and placed between the cutting board and the surface to which the cutting board is on. Whilst a quick and easy solution they are not always effective and also cloths and paper towels are usually disposable and need to be either washed and/or disposed of which overtime can be an unwanted expense. As well cloths and paper towels can impact on the environment. If the cloths and towels are not exchanged regularly then there can be issues with growth of bacteria and germs which can create hygiene and health related issues.
It is known also to place a cloth or under liner when placing hot pots or the like on the dinner table to prevent damage.
When storing cutting boards, and other large flat platters and surfaces, lack of ventilation can entrap moisture and encourages the growth of bacteria and germs which can have health related implications.
Doorstoppers made of rubber degrade over time and become inefficient. Heavy weights or cast iron vintage items like irons and other will leave marks on polished floorboards.
