Abstract
Abstract An extrusion used in the manufacturing of aluminium plantation shutters is a hollow rectangle in shape with an off-centred rebate. Each of the rails (extrusions) house two (2) aluminium eyelets on each end. These eyelets are attached to the inside of each horizontal rail (extrusion) and house the assembly screws which attach the horizontal rail (extrusion) to the vertical side stiles. cca "', "WD F~~ -- - -- - -- x w 00*19 r,~Z 01111 ___ _
Description
EDITORIAL NOTE 2015101354 - There is 1 page of Description which is not page numbered Description Our aluminium extrusion used in the manufacturing of aluminium plantation shutters is a hollow rectangle in shape with an off-centred rebate which continues along the length of the rail (extrusion). Each of the rails (extrusions) house two (2) aluminium eyelets on each end. These eyelets are attached to the inside of each horizontal rail (extrusion) and house the assembly screws which attach the horizontal rail (extrusion) to the vertical side stiles. The distinguishing feature of the profile of our extrusion is the position of the rebate on the rails which are in an off-centred position. This is exclusive to our design and allows the elliptical blades to close to the inside of the rebate which facilitates perfect closure of the shutter blades. Many years of studying and designing window coverings and manufacturing plantation shutters has culminated in a superior, sleek design which sets it apart from others on the market.
