Description
EDITORIAL NOTE 2015100861 There is one page of description only.
This invention similar to most online betting companies will utilize a website and the option of a user friendly android/lOS applications (yet to be produced) for customers to login and purchase 'sporting double' bets. Customers will register on either of the above (website or app), where they will be given an account which they can deposit money into. They then have the option of buying doubles tickets in each respective game. The prices for the 'doubles' tickets will be as follows; A GOLD 'doubles' ticket is worth $5 and has a prize of $500. A SILVER 'doubles' ticket is worth $2 and has a prize of $200. A Bronze 'doubles' ticket is worth $1 and has a prize of $100. Similarly any monetary value can be used and the prize is x100 (i.e $10 ticket is for a $1000 prize) Like traditional doubles, once all 169 tickets are purchased the tickets are reset and a second round of tickets can be sold. There is no limit to how many tickets are sold for each game, and one out of every 169 tickets s guaranteed to win the prize. (i.e with 3 lots of 169 tickets are purchased for the same game then there will be three prizes won) All tickets will have to be purchased prior to the commencement of every game. This doubles betting refers to first 'points' scored so can be from any action that results in points (penalty kick, conversion or try). The tickets will provide a randomly populated number for a player on each of the two teams. The person who purchases the ticket with the number of first point scorer for each team wins the 'doubles prize'. If a reserve player enters the game and points are yet to be scored the reserve player becomes the number of the player he substituted. If no points are scored or only one team scores bets a refunded. There is no limit to the amount of 'doubles' tickets one person can purchase. Technical Break down of how the doubles system works for rugby league: 13 players on each team, (13 x13) which equals 169 combinations. 'Doubles' tickets reflect those 169 combinations, 1 of those 169 combinations will be the first point scorer from each team (i.e., Team 1, number 3 and Team 2, number 11) the person with this combination wins the prize of x100 the ticket price. Allows for a profit of 69 units per 'doubles' ticket round. Best way of implementing 'sporting doubles' As stated above the best way to implement sporting doubles online is via a website and android/lOS application (not yet produced). To this date the only sporting doubles have been sold at sporting venues and not exploited via online application and betting. All betting will be pregame and not live betting.
