Abstract
A hail car cover designed as in an inflatable air mattress with individual cells that inflate with air to give a cushioning protective cover that fits over the vehicle that is to be protected from hail damage. The hail cover folds up and sits in the boot of your car until needed. Then it is taken out of the boot and placed on the ground at the back of the vehicle and attached to the bumper or to the rear underside of your vehicle and is simply unrolled and pulled forward over the top of your vehicle slipping into position over the vehicle to be protected as you go. There are securing points at the front of the vehicle as at the back which the hail cover attaches to. There are also securing straps that go from side to side under the vehicle body that pull tight and are secured with Velcro to hold the hail cover snuggly over the vehicle to be protected when they are secured and pulled tight and the hail cover inflated. The hail cover itself comes with a pressurised air cylinder that inflates the hail cover instantly. The hail cover comes with a foot pump as a backup inflation device, as well as these inflation options, the actual inflation valve to the hail cover fits over regular tyre valves so it can be inflated with the pressurised air from your spare tyre or a tyre being driven on at the time of the hail storm. Once inflated the hail cover fits your vehicle snuggly and gives 100% hail cover to your vehicles exterior body panels, roof and windows. The hail car cover is of the basic design as in an inflatable air mattress with individual cells that inflate with air to give you the mattress support needed or in this instance to give a cushioning protective cover that form fits over the make and model of the vehicle that is to be protected from hail damage the same principle as a normal car dust cover. The hail cover folds up and sits in the boot of your car until needed. Then it is taken out of the boot and placed on the ground at the back of the vehicle and attached to the bumper or to the rear underside of your vehicle ( this may vary with each make and model) and is simply unrolled and pulled forward over the top of your vehicle slipping into position over the vehicle to be protected as you go. There are securing points at the front of the vehicle as at the back (& these may vary with each make and model ) which the hail cover attaches to. There are also securing straps that go from side to side under the vehicle body that pull tight and are secured with velcro to hold the hail cover snuggly over the vehicle to be protected when they are secured and pulled tight and the hail cover inflated.
