Abstract
Title: Brake System for Motor of Electric Vehicle Abstract The invention provides a brake system for a motor of an electric vehicle. The brake system is disposed on a motor end cover. A brake cable mounting frame is provided at one end of the motor end cover, and a brake cable is connected to a press bar by passing through the brake cable mounting frame. The press bar is provided thereon with an adjustment pushrod and a reset spring, and the top of the adjustment pushrod supports against an ejector rod. The ejector rod is connected to a piece of armature iron, and a brake pad is provided under the armature iron. The brake pad is connected to a hexagonal block on a motor rotor. The brake pad is 3-5mm in thickness.
Description
Description Brake System for Motor of Electric Vehicle Technical Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a brake system for a motor of an electric vehicle. Background of the invention The existing electric vehicles generally use common brakes, i.e., expansion brakes or disc brakes. As the electric vehicles brake highly frequently when in use, brake pads are worn quickly. As a result, the use cost becomes high, and the complexity of production and assembly increases. Summary of the Invention To solve the technical problems in the prior art, the present invention provides a brake system for a motor of an electric vehicle. The brake system is disposed on a motor end cover. A brake cable mounting frame is provided at one end of the motor end cover, and a brake cable is connected to a press bar by passing through the brake cable mounting frame. The press bar is provided thereon with an adjustment pushrod and a reset spring, and the top of adjustment pushrod supports against an ejector rod. The ejector rod is connected to a piece of armature iron, and a brake pad is provided under the armature iron. The brake pad is connected to a hexagonal block on a motor rotor. Further, the brake pad is 3-5mm in thickness. The brake system for a motor of an electric vehicle provided by the present invention is simple and novel in structure; and, as the brake is directly disposed on a motor, the wear of the brake pad is reduced, and the braking 1 efficiency is improved. Brief Description of the Drawing Fig. 1 is a structure diagram of a brake system for a motor of an electric vehicle according to the present invention. Detailed Description of the Invention The present invention will be further described as below with reference to the accompanying drawings. As shown in Fig. 1, the brake system for a motor of an electric vehicle provided by the present invention is disposed on a motor end cover 1. A brake cable mounting frame 2 is provided at one end of the motor end cover, and a brake cable 3 is connected to a press bar 4 by passing through the brake cable mounting frame 2. The press bar 4 is provided thereon with an adjustment pushrod 5 and a reset spring 6, and the top of the adjustment pushrod 5 supports against an ejector rod 7. The ejector rod 7 is connected to a piece of armature iron 8, and a brake pad 9 is provided under the armature iron 8. The brake pad 9 is connected to a hexagonal block 10 on a motor rotor. The brake pad 9 is 3-5mm in thickness. When in use, the brake cable 3 is dragged; the press bar 4 is pressed down; and the adjustment pushrod 5 pushes the ejector rod 7 to drive the armature iron 8 to generate friction with the brake pad 9, so that the motor brakes. Vice versa, the brake cable 2 is loosened; the press bar 4 bounds upward due to the reset spring 6; and the brake pad 9 is loosened. 2
Claims (2)
1. A brake system for a motor of an electric vehicle, which is disposed on a motor end cover, characterized in that a brake cable mounting frame is provided at one end of the motor end cover, and a brake cable is connected to a press bar by passing through the brake cable mounting frame; the press bar is provided thereon with an adjustment pushrod and a reset spring, and the top of the adjustment pushrod supporting an ejector rod; the ejector rod is connected to a piece of armature iron, and a brake pad being provided under the armature iron; and the brake pad is connected to a hexagonal block on a motor rotor.
2. The brake system for a motor of an electric vehicle according to claim 1, characterized in that the brake pad is 3-5mm in thickness. 3
