Editorial Note 2014100153 There is only one page of description Specification The Continuing Professional Development Log / Professional Development Activity Log is an app that tracks and records continuing professional development activities for any industry that is required to provide evidence of further education as part of registration / licensure / membership. It would allow users to enter the following details: - personal details - what association/s they belong to - identifying license / registration / membership numbers for each association - how many points they need to accumulate for each association - a graph tracking progress of points towards goal - time period over which the points are accumulated - cycle start date - what categories each association recognizes as approved methods of accumulating points o conference o course o inservice o webinar o online learning o tertiary studies o private study etc - a unit = point conversion(ie 3 hours 1 point) - the title of the activity - the start and end date - the category of evidence - the number of points accumulated - whether those points can be used across more than one association - implications for practice - training institution The app would also include photo evidence (or scanned documents) to attach to each activity ie proof of attendance, completion certificate, agenda etc) At the end of the time period, the user would be able to email a Professional Development Report which would include either a summary of points collated for each membership / license / registration OR a detailed report including all associated documentation if they were audited by their association OR required full documentation in the first instance.
