Description

1 WATERPROOF ENCLOSURE FIELD OF TECHNOLOGY [001] The present invention relates to the field of power distribution equipment, in particular a waterproof enclosure assembled with 35mm Din rail electrical switch, which is applicable to photovoltaic power generation systems, household and similar distribution sites. BACKGROUND OF TECHNOLOGY [002] Existing waterproof enclosures currently consist of a bottom base, sealing ring, lid, switch cover and screw cap. In order to achieve a good waterproof effect, after the electrical switch is mounted inside of the conventional waterproof enclosure, small holes are required to be drilled through the body of the enclosure (or it is necessary to remove the screw cap), and then install the waterproof connector, so that the input and output wires of the electrical switch can pass through, and to further fasten the waterproof connector. However, this existing design has some disadvantages of inconvenient installation, being time consuming and only enable single way installation. OBJECT OF THE INVENTION [003] To overcome the drawbacks with existing waterproof enclosures, the present invention provides a new improved waterproof enclosure for flexible wire connection. [004] The technical solution of the present invention is designing the waterproof enclosure with the electrical switch mounted with the lid, and the sealing ring is sealed between the base and the lid. Further, there are screw caps located on both the inputs and outputs of the base, wherein knock-off holes are located in the middle of each of the screw caps.
2 [005] On the top of the base, there are two input screw caps and on the bottom on the base there are two output screw caps, the knock-off holes are located in the middle of each screw cap and are used to connect with panel type MC4 PV connectors. [006] The waterproof enclosure enables different ways of wire connecting wherein it can be connected with traditional waterproof connectors in the box, but also providing connecting with panel type MC4 PV connectors according to different countries, regions and individuals. In this case, it offers an expanded scope of application and areas of waterproof enclosures, and effectively shortens the installation time for uses and solves drawbacks such as inconvenient installation, time consuming installation and single way installation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [014] As shown in the accompanying drawings 1-4, the waterproof enclosure includes a base 1 and a lid 3, on the front of the lid 3 there is mounted a switch cover 4, and the sealing ring 2 is sealed securely between the base 1 and lid 3. On the top of the base 1 there are two inputs screw caps 5, and on the bottom of base 1 is with two outputs screw caps 5, knock-off holes 6 are located in the middle of each screw cap 5 and is used to connect with panel type MC4 PV connectors. According to different applications, the screw caps 5 can be removed from the base 1 to be adapted to and connect with the traditional waterproof connectors, it is also easy to knock down the knock-off holes 6 in the screw caps 6 to connect with panel type MC4 PV connectors, so as to expand the diversity of connecting ways and further to shorten the installation time. [015] Example 1: As shown in Figure 5, when the waterproof enclosure is in operation, the screw caps 5 have been removed separately, and waterproof connector 7 is installed, wire 8 extends through each waterproof connector 7, after that, the connectors should be wired on the inside of the waterproof enclosure and in order to achieve the waterproof effect, the waterproof connectors have to be fastened tightly. [016] Example 2: As shown in Figure 6, when the waterproof enclosure is in operation, the knock-off holes 6 located on each screw cap 5 are removed separately, then associated with panel type MC4 PV male connector 9 and MC4 PV female connector 10 at the location of each knock-off hole 6, and connected with wire 8 to panel type MC4 PV connector 9 and 10, then to wire the conductors in the internal waterproof enclosure.

1. A waterproof enclosure including a base (1) and a lid (3), on the front of the lid (3) there is mounted a switch cover (4), a waterproof sealing ring is sealed securely between the base (1) and the lid (3), which is characterized in that on the top of the base (1) there is a screw cap (5), and knock-off holes (6) which are located in the middle of the screw cap (5).

The waterproof enclosure as claimed in claim 1, is further characterized in that on the top of the base (1) there is a two incoming wire screw cap (5) and on the bottom of the base (1) there is a two outgoing wire screw cap (5), and the knock-off holes (6) are located in the middle of each screw cap (5) and are used to connect with panel type MC4 PV connectors.
