- 1 FILM LAMINATOR FOR PROTECTIVE FILM OF BAR CELL PHONE AND TABLET COMPUTER Technical Field [0001] The present invention relates to a film laminator, especially a film laminator which is widely adapted to protective films of a bar cell phone and a tablet computer. Background [0002] Any discussion of the background art throughout the specification should in no way be considered as an admission that such background art is prior art nor that such background art is widely known or forms part of common general knowledge in the field. [0003] Film lamination for each of cell phones and tablet computers is effected by hand in the market at present, in which a film paper is separated by hand and then attached to an outer-surface screen of a cell phone. The manual film lamination demands a highly skilled artificial technology, but in some cases that there is a strict requirement on the cell-phone plane, or due to incapability of calibrating a film laminating position precisely, it is hard to avoid a deviation. For example, bubbles, wrinkles and other problems occur. In this case, it is necessary to re-laminate or replace the film paper, and thus not only time, but also the film paper is wasted. In other words, the manual lamination has a cumbersome operation and a low efficiency, and quality film-laminating results are difficult to achieve. Summary [0004] It is an object of the present invention to overcome or ameliorate at least one of the disadvantages of the prior art, or to provide a useful alternative.
-2 [0005] Unless the context clearly requires otherwise, throughout the description and the claims, the words "comprise", "comprising", and the like are to be construed in an inclusive sense as opposed to an exclusive or exhaustive sense; that is to say, in the sense of "including, but not limited to". [0006] A problem to be addressed by the present invention is to provide a film laminator for protective films of a bar cell phone and a tablet computer capable of calibrating film-laminating positions of cell phones precisely to realize automatic lamination, which is convenient, fast and efficient to obtain a good film-laminating effect. [0007] According to a first aspect of the invention, there is provided a film laminator for protective films of bar cell phones and tablet computers, the film laminator including: a stand, on which a receiving tank, a fixing groove for a combined film paper, and a groove for the cell phone or the tablet computer are provided, and on both left and right sides of which, a tracking groove is provided; a movable batten assembly, comprising a round pressing wheel, a metallic or plastic shaft which passes through the round roller concentrically, and tracking rolling wheels equipped at an end of the metallic or plastic shaft; and a piece of combined film paper, comprising a fixing sheet, a separating sheet, a protective film, a bonding film and a supporting film bonded sequentially, the protective film comprising two layers, i.e. primary film and a secondary film, and the separating sheet being stuck under the secondary film. [0008] The film laminator may comprise two tracking grooves and two tracking rolling-wheels, and the tracking rolling-wheels may be installed at two ends of the metallic or plastic shaft, respectively, and arranged in the two tracking grooves. The round pressing wheel may be made of a flexible plastic, such as, silica gel. [0009] The following is an introduction to the function of each component on the stand: the receiving tank on the stand acts to withdraw and house the movable -3 batten assembly in place when the movable batten assembly is not being used, so as to reduce volume of the machine body and facilitate packaging; the fixing groove is configured to mount the fixing sheet of the combined film paper; the groove for the cell phone and the tablet computer is configured to place and secure the cell phone or the tablet computer; and the tracking groove is a track to facilitate movement of the movable batten assembly. [0010] The following is an introduction to functions of components on the combined film paper: the upper protective film is affixed to the separating sheet with a double-sided adhesive tape; the fixing sheet acts to bond with the protective film, and is also applied to the fixing groove on the mounting stand; the bonding film, to which a special removable, viscous gelatine is fixed, is a viscous film paper for bonding the fixing sheet and the protective film, and for the attached surface, no glue can be residual or dropped on it; and the supporting film is to be adhered to the secondary film of the protective film, and is adapted to reinforce the dynamics of bouncing off when the secondary film of the protective film is separated. [0011] An operation mode is as follows: after a cell phone or a tablet computer is placed in the groove for the cell phone and the tablet computer of the stand, the combined film paper is properly installed in the groove for the combined film paper of the stand. Fingers seize the movable batten assembly, and the tracking rolling wheels roll along the tracking grooves of the stand toward a tail section. At the start of rolling, a sharp corner on the movable assembly lifts the separating sheet. Because the secondary film and the primary film for securing the protective film on the separating sheet begin separating from each other in the event that the primary film of the protective film is pulled by the bonding film, the secondary film of the protective film firstly bounces off upon separating. At this time, under the action of the round pressing wheel, the primary film starts being attached to a plane of the cell phone or the tablet computer. When the movable batten assembly rolls through to an end of the track, the primary film has been fully attached to the plane of the cell -4 phone or the tablet computer while the secondary film has been fully detached from the primary film as well. At this time, the bonding film should be torn off and be taken away together with the fixing sheet, and then the cell phone or the tablet computer is removed. Thus, the entire film-laminating operation is completed. [0012] In operation, the movable batten assembly is in such a state that it makes an angle of 90'with the stand so as to move in cooperation with the track; and when it is out of operation, it is in such a state that it is horizontal with respect to the stand so as to reduce the volume. The stand and the movable batten assembly are formed to be a whole after assembly. The combined film paper is an separate item and has to be mounted on laminator upon film lamination to effect the film-laminating operation. [0013] The preferred embodiments of the invention have the following beneficial effects: film-laminating positions of a cell phone and a tablet computer can be calibrated precisely, a film paper is stuck to a plane of the cell phone or the tablet computer swiftly and effectively, anyone can perform the operation by himself or herself, and moreover, a drawback that undesirable effects of bubbles, wrinkles, misalignment and so on are produced in the manual film lamination is overcome. Description [0020] Hereinafter, the preferred embodiments of the invention will be further described in connection with accompanied drawings and embodiments. [0021] As shown in FIGs. 1 to 5, a film laminator for a protective film of a bar cell phone includes: a stand, on which a receiving tank, a fixing groove for a combined film paper, and a groove for the cell phone and a tablet computer are provided, and on both left and right sides of which, a tracking groove is provided; a movable batten assembly, comprising a round pressing wheel, a metallic or plastic shaft which passes through the round pressing wheel concentrically, and a tracking rolling-wheel which is installed in an axle center at the bottom of a holder for a movable batten; and the combined film paper, comprising a fixing sheet, a separating sheet, the protective film, a bonding film and a supporting film, the fixing sheet, the separating sheet and the protective film being bonded sequentially, the film paper comprising two layers, i.e. a primary film and a secondary film, and the separating sheet and the supporting film being secured under the secondary film. [0022] There are two tracking grooves and two tracking rolling-wheels, and the tracking rolling-wheels are installed at two ends of the metallic or plastic shaft, respectively, and arranged in the two tracking grooves.
-6 [0023] The round pressing wheel is made of a flexible plastic, such as, silica gel. [0024] After a cell phone 11 is placed in the groove 1 for the cell phone and the tablet computer of the stand, the combined film paper is properly installed in the fixing groove 2 for the combined film paper of the stand. [0025] Fingers seize the movable batten assembly 3, and the tracking rolling wheels roll along the tracking grooves of the stand toward a tail section. Upon rolling, a sharp corner on the movable assembly exerts a force on the separating sheet 9, and lifts the separating sheet 9, so that the secondary film 6 and the primary film 5 begin separating from each other. At this time, through the pressure by the round rolling-wheel 4, the secondary film 6 swiftly bounces off under the action of the supporting film 10, and the primary film 5 starts being attached to a plane of the cell phone 11. When the movable batten assembly 3 goes to an end of the track, the primary film 5 is fully attached to the plane of the cell phone 10 while the secondary time 6 is fully detached from the primary film 5 as well. At this time, the bonding film 7 should be torn off and be taken away together with the fixing sheet 8, and then the cell phone 11 is removed. Thus, the entire film-laminating operation is completed. [0026] The invention is not limited to the above-mentioned specific implementation. Suitable changes and modifications could also be made by those skilled in the technical field to which the invention belongs on the basis of disclosure and teachings of the specification, and they shall fall into the protection scope of claims of the invention as well.
