Abstract

Plectrum attached to fastener attached to flexible stretchable line attached to a loop that is secured around a finger. ~ci Ioi P

Description

1 Description A playing aid for stringed musical instruments, worn by the player. Including 3 parts. 1.- A flexible element with a grasping loop and an attachment loop. 2.- A fastener to connect the flexible element to 3.- A plectrum. In use the player will place a finger or digit through the grasping loop. the flexible element is connected to the plectrum via a fastener. In turn, the player is now attached to the plectrum via the fastener and flexible element. The player can now perform without dropping the plectrum during the performance. The flexible element allows the plectrum to rebound back to the player should they lose grip of the plectrum. The flexible element may consist of but not limited to. A coil, spring, elastic, rubber or any flexible material that allows suitable elasticity to rebound the dropped plectrum to the player. a length of 20mm-45mm for the flexible element is most suitable. The grasping loop and attaching loop may consist of but not limited to, eg. nylon, plastic, rubber or any suitable material that allows flexibility without compromising playing ability. The fastener may consist of but not limited to ,eg. any material shaped into a ring no more than 10mm diameter. The plectrum may consist of but not limited to, any suitable material depending on the sound required,eg, plastic ,derlin, metal, stone or wood. This playing aid eliminates the instance of dropping or loosing the plectrum whilst performing, thus enabling the player to maintain the correct tone and key produced when using a plectrum.
