A b s t r a c t The invention provides a blind riser which comprises a blind riser body corresponding to a casting cavity and arranged in a molding sand layer, the center of the top of the blind riser body is provided with a gas outlet, an exhaust hole corresponding to the gas outlet is positioned at the center of the molding sand layer, and the side wall of the exhaust hole is provided with a high-temperature resisting layer corresponding to the gas outlet. The blind riser can prevent falling of sand and the like during casting, thereby improving the quality of casting and causing simple and convenient stripping. \7/-
Description
BLIND RISER Filed of the invention The invention relates to the casting field, in particular to a blind riser for casting. Background of the invention As shown in figure 1, the conventional blind riser comprises a blind riser body 1 corresponding to a casting cavity 6 and arranged in a molding sand layer 2, the top of the blind riser body 1 is provided with a gas outlet 3, the center of the molding sand layer 2 is provided with an exhaust hole 4 corresponding to the gas outlet 3, the exhaust hole 4 is generally configured when the molding sand layer 2 is formed, and the exhaust hole 4 is made of the same material with the molding sand layer 2; the casting cavity 6 is painted and thus can not drop sand at high temperature due to very high refractoriness, but the exhaust hole 4 can not be painted, when liquid metal enters the casting cavity 6, a large amount of flame spurts from the exhaust hole 4, and extremely high temperature bums molding sand surrounding the exhaust hole 4 to loose, resulting in sand 5 to drop seriously into the casting cavity 6 and thereby causing defects of castings such as sand inclusion and the like. Summary of the invention The object of the invention is to provide a blind riser which can prevent falling of sand and the like to improve casting quality and lead to simple and convenient stripping.
In view of the above technical problems, the invention employs the following technical scheme: a blind riser comprises a blind riser body corresponding to a casting cavity and arranged in a molding sand layer, the center of the top of the blind riser body is provided with a gas outlet, an exhaust hole corresponding to the gas outlet is positioned at the center of the molding sand layer, and the side wall of the exhaust hole is provided with a high-temperature resisting layer corresponding to the gas outlet. Preferably, the high-temperature resisting layer is of a ceramic tube structure which can further improve the high temperature resistance of the exhaust hole. The invention has the following advantages: The blind riser provided by the technical scheme of the invention prevents falling of sand and the like during casting, thereby improving the quality of casting and causing simple and convenient stripping. Detailed description of the embodiment Referring to figure 2, a blind riser comprises a blind riser body 1 corresponding to a casting cavity 6 and arranged in a molding sand layer 2, the center of the top of the blind riser body 1 is provided with a gas outlet 3, an exhaust hole 4 corresponding to the gas outlet 3 is positioned at the center of the molding sand layer 2, the side wall of the exhaust hole 4 is provided with a high-temperature resisting layer 7 corresponding to the gas outlet 3, and the high-temperature resisting layer 7 is of a ceramic tube structure.
Claims (2)
1. A blind riser, comprising a blind riser body (1) corresponding to a casting cavity (6) and arranged in a molding sand layer (2), the center of the top of the blind riser body (1) being provided with a gas outlet (3), an exhaust hole (4) corresponding to the gas outlet (3) being positioned at the center of the molding sand layer (2), and characterized in that the side wall of the exhaust hole (4) is provided with a high-temperature resisting layer (7) corresponding to the gas outlet (3).
2. The blind riser according to claim 1, characterized in that the high-temperature resisting layer (7) is of a ceramic tube structure.
