Description

Page 1 PRODUCT NAME: Bstring DESCRIPTION: Bra Attachment, replacing the need to wear an extra layer. USE: Designed to cover excess cleavage, enabling almost any outfit to be worn without revealing too much excess skin. The Bstring is a bra attachment designed to conceal cleavage without the need for adding layers. This is a variation on an existing garment known as a Dickie which was originally designed as a false shirt-front. However the design of the Dickie resembled a bib in shape and was originally used to cover the entire chest area, up to the neck. The Bstring is specifically designed to conceal cleavage only. For many women, the need to wear two layers of clothing to disguise cleavage can be uncomfortable, impractical and hot. If an outfit is tight fitting or made of clingy material the added layer (ie a camisole or singlet) can cause bunching or create unsightly, visible lines. The Bstring alleviates all these problems. The reason this product is so unique is that it attaches to the bra at 3 points, so the Bstring does not move around, bunch or create creases. Also, as it is attached to the base of the bra it is unlikely to ride-up.

Claims (10)

1. The Bstring is a garment that is a bra attachment designed to cover cleavage (see diagrams 1 & 2).
2. The Bstring is a doubled layered garment.
3. The Bstring is fitted to the bra by sliding the bra through the unique, double layered base of the Bstring (see diagram 3).
4. The 2 top tabs of the Bstring are folded over the bra straps and fastened with press studs (see diagram 4). There is one male press stud located at the top edge of each tab (see diagrams 2 & 6) and 3 female press studs on the underside of the garment on each side of the Bstring (see diagrams 2 & 6).
5. The Bstring has 3 attachments points: two top tabs; and one anchoring point at the base of the garment. There are also 3 adjustment points connecting to both sides of the top tabs (see Placement ofPress Studs below) therefore making this garment adjustable to fit most shapes and sizes.
6. The Bstring is made from stretch materials such as: stretch cotton, lycra, elastine etc.
7. The Bstring is designed to fit snugly to the body without riding-up or bunching.
8. The Bstring was designed to stop the necessity of wearing extra layers to conceal the cleavage.
9. The most innovative aspect of this garment is the double layering which enables the Bstring to be attached to the bra at the base, anchoring the product to the bra therefore ensuring the garment will not be dislodged.
10. At this stage the garment will be manufactured using press studs as attachments, however the garment is not restricted to this form of attachment shown in the example, but may use other suitable forms of attachment ie: hook and eye, clasps etc. Placement of Press Studs: There is one male press stud placed at the top corner edge of each tab (2 tabs (see diagram 6)). The three female press studs are placed approximately 12mm from top edge of garment (measured at centre of press stud). The female press studs are placed at approximately (see diagram 6): 1st - 8.5cm from centre of male to centre of female. 2nd & 3rd at 2cm intervals.
