Description

1 Description The event clapper is a paper-made clapper which is used to applaude with by fans/audience/participants of an event. Its objective is to increase the atmosphere at the location where the event is held. The rhythmic clapping stimulates the involvement of the fans/audience/participants of the event. In sports the clapper is used by fans/spectators to support the sporting individual(s) and/or team(s). The event clapper is made of a strong and fire-resistant type of paper, containing a number of creases, allowing the paper to be folded/creased into a hand clapper. Both sides of the clapper contain one or more messages, related to the event and/or with a promotional/sales objective. Promotional messages can vary, from general and/or targeted messages where a direct response is not the aim, to messages which generate/initiate direct response/results (either at the location where the event is held or elsewhere). Dependent on its contents, the clapper can also become a collectors item. The clapper is standardly made of Silk mc paper, 350 grs/m2. Its standard size is 330 x 486 mm, with 8 creases.

Claims (7)

1. A clapper, made of a strong type of paper, containing a number of creases, allowing the paper to be folded/creased into a hand clapper.
2. The clapper of claim 1 treated with fire-resistant laminate.
3. The clapper of claim 1 and 2, containing messages on one or both sides of the clapper, related to the event and/or with a promotional objective.
4. The clapper of claim I to 3, used to applaude with by fans/audience/participants of an event.
5. The clapper of claim 1 to 3, used at sports events by fans/spectators to support the sporting individual(s) and/or team(s).
6. The clapper of claim 1 to 5 containing promotional messages, varying from general and/or targeted messages where a direct response is not the aim, to messages which generate/initiate direct response/results (either at the location where the event is held or elsewhere).
7. The clapper of claim I to 6, used as a collectors item.
