Description
1 Description Back Ground of This Invention. For many year,s , homeowners and commercial builders have rely,d on treated timbers for their buildings, fences, decks, outdoor furniture, retainer walls from protection of wood detroying organisms. Alot of timber preservatives used in this protection are harmful and toxic to people and pets who have contact with the treated surfaces, the toxic chemicals allso leach out of the treated timbers into the soil and environment. The most common of these toxic chemicals is CCA [chromate, copper, arsenic],which have timber detroying insect protection and do not decay, but the arsenic is a known carsenogenic cancer causing agent. These treated timbers should be labeled ARSENIC TREATED wood. This invention is a dymanic product and is the advancement of timber treatment from what is known today. It is a non toxic solvent based wood treatment, and with the use of a hydrocarbon carrier, this penatrating natural solvent is cross linked with cedar oil and silicon to the wood cellular structure succeeds in closing and drying of the hydroden tails of the hydroxyl molecular group found in any wood media including hardwood, softwood and bamboo. The closure of the molecule chain eliminates the opportunity of the media to harbour moisture content either air bourne [humidity]or liquid form. this results in dimentionally stability, water resistance and pest conrol of wood detroying organisms. Penatration with the proprietry hydrocarbon solvent displaces existing moisture content in the wood which results in kilnless drying,an instant evacuation and exodus od h2o compounds from the media.Unlike aqueous treatments that are subject to entry and exit by moisture and the continous leaching of toxins, water can never displace a solvent carrier from its impregnation to wood cellular. After entry to the wood through the vascular feeding system,[summer sap ring] and migration to the adjoining sap wood,[winter sapwood ring]the annular growth rings are sealed using the tree,s own resins as a catalyst that forms a waxy like substance in the media celluar structure.this product is a water scavenger and is considered to be nano tecnology with how it enteres the cell wallof the hydroxyl group molecular. With CCA treated timber apon application of the invention by brush, spray or rollor, the invention locked in the toxic arsenic compound so it will not leach out or come in contact with humans, animals or the environment.
Claims (1)
- 6. as in claims 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 and once applied is a natural fungicide and termiticide and moldicide not subject to water/moisture or uv degration, and eliminates warping, spilting and cupping of wood as it ages. 7.As in claims 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 and 6 and as having a conbination of silanes of quartz, cross linked with cedar oil, providing moisture protection to cell walls of wood, considered nano in the penatration of the hydroxyl group molecular structure where upon entrance it becomes a water scavenger, completely eliminating any free on board water in the wood.with out moisture there can be no expansion or contraction, decay or insect attack.
