Description
The invention relates to improvements in bin design for the ease of garbage bag replacement. It is well known that garbage bags placed within bins keeps the bin clean, ultimately promoting hygiene and cleanliness of surrounding areas. Whether in the home or office, it is by now common practice for garbage bags to be placed inside bins. However, placing the garbage bag inside the bin, while not overly onerous, makes for a cumbersome activity. Not only does the user need to ensure that the bag is pushed well inside the bin, the bags need to be ripped off from the roll, opened manually, and then inserted manually for the right effect and purpose. These issues are overcome by the present invention, which provides an in-built specially designed compartment to store garbage bags in bulk inside the bin, at the base. The bags are positioned so that they can be pulled up with ease through a slitted portion or small opening, much like tissues from a tissue box. As such, this allows users to pull up the bags easily and quickly when required, after the existing bag is removed for disposal. Claims (10)
1. A bin comprising of a false bottom with a small trap door located between the real and false bottoms of the bin, accessible from the outside, allowing for bulk garbage bag placement directly into the base of the bin, together with a slitted portion or small opening in the false bottom that allows for access to, and pulling up of, the garbage bags.
2. The bin device of claim 1 wherein the slitted portion in the false bottom of the bin is in the shape of a rhombus.
3. The bin device of claim 1 wherein the shape of the slitted portion in the false bottom of the bin is in the shape of a square.
4. The bin device of claim 1 wherein the shape of the slitted portion in the false bottom of the bin is in the shape of a rectangle.
5. The bin device of claim 1 wherein the shape of the slitted portion in the false bottom of the bin is in the shape of a parallelogram.
6. The bin device of claim 1 wherein the shape of the slitted portion in the false bottom of the bin is in the shape of a triangle.
7. The bin device of claim 1 wherein the shape of the slitted portion in the false bottom of the bin is in the shape of a star polygon.
8. The bin device of claim 1 wherein the shape of the slitted portion in the false bottom of the bin is in the shape of a circle.
9. The bin device of claim 1 wherein the shape of the slitted portion in the false bottom of the bin is in the shape of an oval.
