Description
Pool Section 29 Regulation 3.2(2) AUSTRALIA Patents Act 1990 COMPLETE SPECIFICATION INNOVATION PATENT Application Number: Lodged: Invention Title: A Gas Heater The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method of performing it known to us: P111ABAU/1207 1 A GAS HEATER TECHNICAL FIELD A gas heater, mainly used for outdoor heating, is disclosed. BACKGROUND ART 5 Burners in current gas heaters are usually provided at a high position outdoor, and when people want to warm themselves, beat coming from the burner is reflected out via a reflector. Such a heat dissipation manner fails to make full use of the heat source in a gas pipe, thus rendering the heating effect unsatisfactory. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION 10 According to a first aspect, there is provided a gas beater comprising a bracket, a reflector, a burner and a controller, wherein the burner and the controller are disposed on the bracket, the reflector is fixed on an upper portion of the bracket, wherein a glass tube is disposed above the burner, and a flame screen is disposed above the glass tube the flame screen comprising a base plate (5-2) and a cover, the cover being located at the base plate such that the -s base plate locates in use at the upper end of the tube, and the cover extends up from the base plate at the location of the tube upper end, such that it is able to screen a flame at the open upper end of the tube. After adopting the above structure, as the glass tube is disposed above the burner and the flame screen is disposed above the glass tube, flame is generated in the glass tube when the gas is 20 burning, heat is radiated outward via the glass tube and, in combination with the heat radiated by the flame screen around, the heat energy can be used more effectively and the burning process is very beautiful, The present invention has features of large heating area and find heating effect. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS An embodiment of the present disclosure will be further described in detail taken in 25 conjunction with the accompanying drawings thereof Figure 1 is a front view illustrating the structure of the gas heater according toa first embodiment; Figure 2 is a top view of figure 1; 232918.4 qGHM2atr) 2110110 2 Figure 3 is a bottom view of figure 1; Figure 4 is a sectional view taken along line A-A in figure 2; and Figure 5 is a schematic view illustrating the three-dimensional structure of the gas heater after safety guards at three sides and side plates at two sides are removed. 5 DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS As shown in figures 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, a gas heater according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a bracket 5, reflector 1, a burner 6 and a controller 7, wherein the burner 6 and the controller 7 are disposed on the bracket 5, the reflector 1 is fixed on an upper portion of the bracket 5, a glass tube 4 is disposed above the burner 6, and a flame screen 2 is 10 disposed above the glass tube 4. As shown in figures 1, 4, and 5, the flame screen 2 is of a cover shape. The flame screen 2 may be also in a flat plate shape. As shown in figures 4 and 5, the bumer 6 and the controller 7 are located below a mounting plate 5-1 of the bracket 5, the glass tube 4 is connected with the mounting plate 5-1 at a is lower portion and with a flame screen base plate 5-2 at an upper portion, and the flame screen 2 is fixed on the flame screen base plate 5-2. The flame screen 2 may also be fixed on the reflector 1 via a sling. As shown in figures 1, 4 and 5, for using safely the gas heater, safety guards 3 are disposed on the bracket 5 around the glass tube 4. 20 As shown in figures 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, in order to increase the novelty and simpleness of the appearance, the bracket 5 is further provided with a door 8, side plates 9 and a bottom plate 10. As shown in figure 5, in order to render the use of the heater safe and achieve a further protecting function in a toppling condition, the controller 7 is further connected with a safety auto 25 shut off tilt switch. As shown in figures 1, 2, 4, and 5, in order to make the gas heater stable and difficult to topple, the bracket 5 is in a shape of a frustum of a quadrangular pyramid, Of course, the bracket 45 may also be in a shape of a frustum of a triangular pyramid, or a shape of a frustum of a cone. 232I01.S (GHI~ter) 20/IiC 3 As shown in figures 1, 4, and 5, the working principle of the disclosed gas heater is as follows: the bumer 6 is ignited via the controller 7. After the gas heater is provided with the gas, the mixture gas burns in the glass tube 4, and the flame extends to the flame screen 2 above the glass tube 4. At this time, the glass tube 4 radiates heat around and releases much heat, and the 5 flame screen 2 also radiates heat around via the reflector 1. When an accidental toppling happens to the gas heater, the safety auto shut off tilt switch will cut off the gas source automatically and then the gas heater stops working. 2529i O8.3 (CHMattel") 20:1 V/10
