Description
Rubber Plastic compound Crosstie Description Respective area of technology This practical new technology involves one kind of anti-corrosive, long-life, good-elastic railway crosstie, which made of worn-out rubber, waste plastic and worn-out lignin crosstie or sawdust.
Background Technology At present, there are two main kinds of widespread used railroad crosstie: wooden crosstie and concrete crosstie. The former has light weight and good elasticity, but it is easy to be corroded, its useful life is short, and the resources for making it are limited. The latter is anti-corrosive, its useful life is long, but its elasticity is worse than the former.
Invention content The raw materials for this Rubber Plastic compound crosstie are: abandoned worn-out rubber, waste plastic, and one of worn-out crosstie or sawdust. These materials could cause severe environmental pollution if not well recycled. The performance of this kind of crosstie is similar to lumber but better than the lumber. It has good elasticity, long useful life, and it is anti-corrosive. It has advantages of the wooden crosstie plus the concrete one, but it is better than both.
This practical new technology uses the following technical plan.
1) Broken worn-out rubber to colloidal particle, and waste plastic to granule. Then Mix them with cross linking agent according to certain proportion. Next, produce the compound crosstie using the "heated push formation law" to close agglutinate the rubber and plastic material, together with old crosstie which has been truncated into a certain size and attached with steel stiffener.
2) Mix the rubber and plastic material with sawdust which has been crushed into certain volume, using the "heated push formation law" to produce the compound crosstie with steel stiffener structure inside.
The benefit of this practical new technology relates to fully use the worn-out tyre, rubber, plastic, old lignin crosstie and the sawdust which was abandoned by people, to make the new type of crosstie with long useful life and high performance level. By using this technology, not only the recycled resources will be fully used, the natural environment will also be protected.
The invention may be better understood with reference to the following figures on page 3: 1. Figure 1 show the compound crosstie which is made of old crosstie or wooden material, together with the rubber and plastic material..
2. Figure 2 is the partial outward appearance of the compound crosstie.
Claims (2)
1. One new kind of rubber and plastic compound crosstie, which is manufactured using waste rubber, waste plastic, used wooden crosstie or sawdust cross linking agent, with steel stiffener structure.
2. The compound crosstie according to claim 1, has the steel stiffener structure inside, is used on common railways, while the crosstie used on light rails as for mine or gallery is without steel stiffener structure LISAI HA LI ZHU HAN YING QIN 2 APRIL 2007
