Patents Act 1990 COMPLETE SPECIFICATION STANDARD PATENT CHOKER IMPLEMENT The following statement is a full description of this invention including the best method of performing it known to me: I Choker Implement
C.)
O In my occupation as a manufacturing jeweller, a process involved attempting to choke the flow of cut gem stones through a standing, non fixed, base supported item, after much frustration and finding nothing suitable this invention was created.
This Choker Implement is a component that is used in conjunction with other apparatus/device not part of this invention this apparatus/device is required to activate the Choker Implement function.
A separate apparatus/device not part of this invention is in a research and/or development stage and will be for applying the required pressure to activate the C, Choker Implement function.
SThis Choker Implement invention relates to choking items, being an implement that C, (when used with a separate apparatus/device not part of this invention) can apply a choke to a desired amount and release it as required, and if a base stand is removed or not present, the item will remain in a choke grasp that will not release the choke tension or allow the item being choked to fall or move from it's intended placement whilst retaining its stability.
Whereas the Choker Implement I made measured approximately 2.5cm x 1 cm, this invention is able to be constructed with components of smaller or larger size and dimensions accordingly suitable for differing individual needs, industrial needs or a required usage.
This Choker Implement in accordance with this invention comprises a first bar component and a second bar component, these bar components should be made from metal, plastic or nylon or of materials of similar or like properties natural or manmade and should be rigid or pliable as appropriate to/with the item to be choked, and also a first length of pliable material formed with a first eyelet and a second eyelet and a second length of pliable material formed with a third eyelet and a fourth eyelet, these lengths of material should be made from nylon, metal or plastic or of materials of similar or like properties natural or manmade and should be rigid or pliable appropriate to/with the item to be choked.
The lengths of pliable material are located within the bar components in a manner or method that allow the required free play, with the eyelets clear.
The item selected to be choked is placed between the bar components and when pressure is applied with an independent apparatus/device (not part of this invention) equally to each of the individual eyelets, a choking action is initiated.
This Choker Implement has been designed to be a reusable multi functional aid that can apply a choke action to items of various size, shape and materials.
The (Choker Implement) components size, shape, length and materials and/or the manner or method of use may be varied according to the individual/industrial need or required task and should be made from materials rigid or pliable that are suitable so as not to damage the item to be choked and should also be suitable for repetitive use and exposure to elements chemical or natural appropriate to the individual/industrial need or required task and if feasible should be made from recycled or recyclable materials where possible.
Page I of IDThis invention may be better understood with reference to the illustrations of the embodiments of the invention which: SNote: The illustration is a simplified example view of a Choker Implement concept O 5 and is not an exact view of the invention and/or its components, shape and/or dimensions.
Figure 1 is a supposed 'overhead' view of the Choker Implement component concept consisting of: 00 A first bar component SA second bar component A first length of pliable material formed with a first eyelet and a second eyelet IDA second length of pliable material formed with a third eyelet and a fourth eyelet The first bar component and second bar component are placed in approximate parallel positions.
The first length of pliable material with eyelets and is located within the first bar component with the first eyelet clear of the first bar component and through the second bar component with the second eyelet extending clear of the second bar component The second length of pliable material with eyelets and is located within the second bar component with the third eyelet clear of the second bar component and through the first bar component with the fourth eyelet extending clear of the first bar component A nominal gap is allowed between the first bar component and the second bar component leaving a space for positioning the item requiring the choke application.
A suitable independent apparatus/device (not part of this invention) is attached to the eyelets and and this suitable apparatus/device is used to apply pressure away from the bar components as indicated by arrows and (10) via the eyelets and So as not to damage the item selected to be choked, a suitable pressure is applied via independent apparatus/device. When the pressure is evenly supplied the first bar component should move towards the second bar component creating the choking action as indicated by arrows (11) and The amount of choke is then applied to suit the required need.
If a base supporting the selected item to be choked is knocked, unstable, removed or not present the selected item being choked will not fall and will remain in a stable choke grasp.
