Description

Technical Field The present invention relates to an improved built-in adjustment mechanism to a fit-all-size roller skate that is adjusted without additional tool. This fit-all-size roller skate aims to be worn with footwear regardless of foot size by enabling width to be adjusted in discretion when necessary.
Background Art Various types of conventional technologies relating to a roller skate have been suggested before.
One of them, which is with an U.S. Patent No. 20040041359, discloses a roller skate that is easy to attach and detach. The bolt and nut mechanism are conjoined to the long conjoining hole that is formed at the center part of the foothold of the other side and long hole for conjoining formed into the direction of width by slide conjoining projection for width adjustment formed on foothold of other side into groove formed long to enable width adjustment formed on foothold of one side at a state when heel of shoes is settled into foothold of one side to enable width adjustment according to the user; i s shoes.
Conjoining parts of the two footholds are mutually fit in to conjoin bolt and nut into conjoining hole of conjoining part so that two footholds can be conjoined.
However, in the structure of the above roller skate;is conjoining part, there is no mechanism to stop the two footholds from separating when user slides them apart while adjusting them.
When user unscrews the bolt and nut, the user also unscrews and detaches the two footholds; this can cause injuries when a child unscrews the footholds too fast.
Furthermore, user needs an extra tool to operate the bolt and nut mechanism, and a screw driver can be dangerous to children.
Summary of the Invention To solve the above problems, it is an objective of the present invention to provide an improved adjustment mechanism having a structure so that the operation of adjusting the width of the roller skate is made easy and improved, and mass production is possible.
Another objective is to prevent the two footholds from detaching with each other when their conjoining mechanism, bolt and nut, is loosen and the two footholds are being pull apart.
Accordingly, to achieve these objectives, this invention relates to the adjustment mechanism of the fit-all-size roller skate, and the width of the roller skate can be adjusted with this invention, a builtin adjustment mechanism for the fit-all-size roller skate.
This invention comprises n upper foothold and a lower foothold. Center of the upper footholds shall be comprised of conjoining part that is formed with numerous conjoining holes; the numerous conjoining holes opened at the center of the lower foothold should mirror the conjoining holes of the upper foothold.
A lid should be fitted on the upper foothold, which several conjoining poles with the sizes that fit the conjoining holes on both the upper and lower footholds. These conjoining poles penetrate the conjoining holes on both the upper and lower footholds and secure the two footholds together.
To compare with the existing adjustment mechanism, this invention shall secure the two footholds together by the mechanism of inserting the conjoining poles into the conjoining holes on both the upper and lower footholds. The width of the fit-all-size roller skate can be adjusted very quickly by this invention.
This invention comprises with only plastic and it is much safer than the existing technology using metal bolt and nut mechanism. This invention comprises of two wheels that are securely fixed into the sides of the both the upper and lower footholds.
Description of the drawings FIG. 1 is a top view drawing of the present invention.
FIG. 2 is a perspective drawing of the lid of the present invention.
FIG. 3 is sectional view of the lid of the present invention.
FIG. 4 is a perspective drawing of the present invention.
Explanation on the Number Pertaining to Key Parts of Figure 1. Lower foothold; 2. Upper foothold; 3. Lid; 4. Locking nail; 5. Sliding canal; 6. Lower Conjoining holes; 7. Upper Conjoining holes; 8. Elastic buckle; 9. Conjoining poles; 10. Wheels; 11. Inserting parts; 12. Inserting holes; 13. Locking nail conjoining hole.
Composition of the Invention The upper foothold consist of upper conjoining holes the lower foothold consist of lower conjoining holes that mirror the upper conjoining holes The upper foothold (2) consist of a lid and conjoining poles on the lid should penetrate both the upper conjoining holes and lower conjoining holes in order to secure the upper foothold and the lower foothold The upper foothold consists of numerous upper conjoining holes these conjoining holes (7) mirror the lower conjoining holes of the lower foothold When the upper foothold are put together, the lower conjoining holes and the upper conjoining holes form cannels. The distance between the conjoining holes is fixed in order to form the above mentioned cannels when the footholds are being moved.
The lower foothold consists of a sliding cannel the upper foothold consists of locking nail hole The locking nail is inserted into the locking nail hole tightly and it is positioned against the base of the sliding cannel(5), this is to control the sliding movement and to prevent the two footholds from sliding apart with each other.
The wall of the upper foothold securely consists of a wheel And the wall of the lower foothold consists of another wheel The number of the conjoining poles of the lid (3) fixed onto the upper foothold should be fewer than the upper conjoining holes so that the upper foothold and the lower foothold can form the cannels for the conjoining poles (9) when they are put together and being slide.
Two inserting holes (12) are made on the upper foothold (12) and inserting parts (11) at the edge of the lid are made to fix the lid onto the upper foothold The elastic buckle on the lid fixes the lid onto the upper foothold (12) tightly and securely.
Remove the lid the upper foothold and the lower foothold can be slide and extended to the length of the sliding cannel When the width of the roller skate is decided, put the lid (3) back onto the upper foothold and push the elastic buckle against the wall of the inserting holes (12) until it is tightly fixed.
