Description

PATENTS ACT 1990 COMPLETE SPECIFICATION INNOVATION PATENT IMPROVED PRESSURE PAINT TANK STRUCTURE The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method of performing it known to me: IMPROVED PRESSURE PAINT TANK STRUCTURE FIELD OF INVENTION i The present invention relates to a paint tank, more particularly Sto an integral seamless pressure paint tank that provides a very strong pressure resistance effect to prevent explosion due to high pressure, and generates a pressure group during the mixing to Sprevent the paint from spilling onto the lid.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION i In general, a regular paint job uses an air compressor to work with a spray gun to spray the paint directly onto a work piece.
Since the quantity contained in the spray gun is very limited, and paint has to be refilled all the time, which is very inconvenient.
Therefore, men of insight design a paint tank 1 as shown in FIG. 1 using an air compressor to pump the compressed air into the paint tank 1, and then the paint in the paint bucket 2 of the paint tank 1 is sent to a spray gun to perform a paint job. A conventional paint bucket as shown in FIG. 2 is produced by rolling a sheet of iron (steel) plate 3 into a cylindrical shape, soldering 4 both edges of the plate 2, and then soldering a circular board 5 to the bottom to produce an open-ended bucket. When the air compressor pumps the compressed air into the pressure tank, the soldered 4 area will be exploded if the pressure is too large, and such explosion is amazingly powerful and very unsafe. Thus, soldering requires skillful technique to avoid air leak, in addition to its shortcomings of time consuming and wasting efforts that results an increase of cost. The protrusion produced by soldering 4 makes the overall q appearance of the paint tank bad looking. Therefore, it is a major 2; subject on designing a paint tank that can increase the pressure _resistance, improve the safety, and keep the appearance good looking.
tn SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION 00 SThe primary objective of the present invention is to provide an integral formed paint tank and enhance its safety on pressure 1 resistance.
Another objective of the present invention is to install a diversion member onto the bottom of the lid of the paint tank, and the top of the diversion member is coupled to a hollow protruded pillar, which is securely coupled to an air gate, so that the air can be guided to both sides of the air hole through the diversion member, and such arrangement produces a pressure group to prevent the spill of the paint during the mixing.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS FIG. 1 is a diagram of the appearance of a prior-art paint tank.
FIG. 2 is an illustrative diagram of forming a prior-art paint tank.
FIG. 3 is a diagram of the disassembled parts of a preferred embodiment of the present invention.
FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional diagram of the assembled structure of a preferred embodiment of the present invention.
FIG. 5 is a perspective diagram of another embodiment of the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED
EMBODIMENTS
i Please refer to Fig. 3 for the improved pressure paint tank structure of the present invention. The present invention comprises: t a paint tank 10, being made by integrally punching a stainless 00 steel plate 101 into a hollow opened upward cylindrical bucket, and 4 wheels 11 equidistantly disposed along the same edge on the C-i bottom of the paint tank 10, so that the paint tank 10 can freely move in any direction according to actual needs; 4 opened upward n-shaped fixing bases 12 are disposed equidistantly on the edge proximate the end; a latch member 14, substantially in the shape of a vertical rod, being transversally bolted to the fixing base 12 by a rivet 13; a butterfly-shaped nut 15 being secured on a screw thread section on the latch member 14, and the latch 14 being capable of swinging up and down with respect to the center of the transversal rivet 13;.
a lid 20, coupled onto the paint tank 10, 4 opened outward n-shaped latch rings 21 are disposed on the periphery of the top of the lid 20, having an electric blender 22 disposed at the center of the top of the lid 20; a diversion member 23 vertically coupled to the bottom of the lid 20; a hollow hose 231 disposed at the center of the diversion member 23 and connecting two air holes on the left and right sides of the diversion member 23, and the hollow hose 231 extending out of the top of the lid 20 for securing an air valve 24, so that the outside air being pumped into the diversion member 23 and then through the two air holes 232 into a paint outlet 25 of the paint .O tank 10 which is vertically secured onto the lid 20; a material feed pipe 251, coupled to the bottom of the paint outlet 2; a filter washer 252 coupled to the bottom of the material feed pipe 251, and the filter washer 252 at its bottom has a filter 253, so that the paint in O the paint tank being filtered by the filter and spraying out from the paint outlet 25 through the material feed pipe 251; a gas release switch 26 disposed on the top of the lid 20 for releasing the internal pressure of the paint tank When the paint tank 10 is in use, a certain quantity of paint is filled into the paint tank 10, and then the lid 20 is secured onto the top of the paint tank 10 as shown in FIG. 4. The four latch rings 21 align with the fixing base 12 on the periphery of the paint tank and the latching member 14 can be pulled upward and then downward to secure the butterfly-shaped nut 15, which turns the latch member 14 up side down and facing downward to open the lid and pour out the remaining paint.
The first advantage of the present invention is that it can withhold a strong pressure since the paint tank 10 is integrally made of stainless steel without any seam.
The second advantage of the present invention is that the lid can be cleaned and rinsed easily when changing paints of different colors, since the diversion members 23 are disposed at the bottom of the lid 20, so that the air flowing into the paint tank 10 is guided out from the air holes on the left and right sides of the diversion member 23 and forms a pressure group to prevent the paint from o spilling upward onto the inner side of the lid The paint tank 10 of the present invention as shown in FIG. 5 at 5 its bottom 16 could have a conical funnel, and an outlet pipe 17 (-i In coupled to the bottom of the paint tank 10, and the outlet pipe 17 00 has an ON/OFF switch 18, such that the paint in the paint tank can flow out from the outlet pipe 17 conveniently.
