Abstract

An irreversible optical recording support incorporates an active layer (2) of inorganic material, presenting a leading surface (3), destined to receive optical radiation (4) during the operations of writing and reading, and a trailing surface (5). It also incorporates an additional metal layer (6) arranged on the trailing surface of the active layer.
