Abstract

According to the invention, an electrical domestic power installation system with a serial installation bus for the decentralised indoor switching, control, transfer and/or monitoring of energy and/or information which is simple to operate and install and also simple to configure can be achieved, whereby the system has a number of modular single modules, each of which has a logic module (6) with an application specific circuit (ASIC) and an EEPROM in the form of a chipcard (7) on which the parameter set for the individual single module is stored, such that on plugging in the chipcard (7) (the chipcard is electronically connected to the ASIC) the single module is fully configured.
