Abstract

The invention relates to a flexible electrical heating element (1) for tools (14), particularly for injection molding tools. According to the invention, the heating element (1) comprises at least one heat conductor (3), which is situated inside a metal tube (2) while being embedded in an insulating compound (4), and the metal tube (2) is surrounded by at least one gas-permeable metallic covering (5).
