Abstract

An opening (16) providing access to a brake lining in a disc brake casing (5) is partly covered by a cover (17) provided with a means for securing it to a bracket-shaped brake lining holder (18). This holder is connected to the casing and extends in a transverse direction over the opening. The cover lies in contact with a region of the outer surface of the brake casing at least partially surrounding the opening.
