Abstract

Disclosed is a piece of furniture comprising a partially or temporarily transparent plate (2) that is positioned horizontally when in a functional position and is supported by a supporting arrangement (3). A clock mechanism (13) is integrated into the inventive supporting arrangement while time-indicating means are disposed underneath or within the plate. The inventive piece of furniture is used for coffee tables.
