Abstract

The invention relates to a method for axially drawing in pre-wound coils into the grooves of stator or rotor laminated cores, wherein a draw-in device comprising annularly arranged, parallel axially displaceable draw-in blades (16) and a central axially displaceable draw-in star element (20) is used to push the inner peripheral areas of the coil windings (10), which are suspended between the draw-in blades (16), through the hole of the laminated core (12). In order to prevent coil windings, which are initially pushed through, from impeding subsequent windings from being pushed through completely, the winding heads (66) of one part of the coil windings (10') protruding above the rear end of the laminated core (12) are forced in a radially outward manner during the drawing-in process in a specific intermediate phase, and the remaining coil windings (10 ) are fully pushed through the hole of the laminated core (12).
