The device (3) has a detector of vehicle (4,5) identification markers giving identification information corresponding to the identification marker if successfully detected, an evaluation device that determines whether the information is associated with a data record belonging to a pool of authorized vehicles and outputs a positive control signal if so or a negative signal if not and an indication device that gives a corresponding signal.
