Abstract
The invention relates to a disk brake, especially for utility vehicles, that comprises a caliper (3) that overlaps a brake disk, a brake application device (5) disposed in the caliper (3) that applies the brake and at least one adjustment device comprising an electrical drive. The inventive brake is further provided with a mechanical device (45, 47) that blocks the adjustment device driven by an electromotor against an augmentation of the release play that exceeds a threshold value caused by the electromotor drive.
