Patents Act 1990 COMPLETE SPECIFICATION INNOVATION PATENT CARDBOARD CAR The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method of performing it known to me: CARDBOARD CAR For many years' children have enjoyed playing with cardboard boxes of various shapes, sizes and configurations. They have used their imaginations in manipulating said cardboard boxes for their own enjoyment and adventure.
This invention has been specially devised in order to allow children to play with interactively the cardboard car and to artistically colour their own individual cardboard car to their liking.
The cardboard car in accordance with this invention comprises of a cardboard sleeve made from SSSWK-C grade corrugated cardboard. Said cardboard sleeve has an opening in the top and bottom which, allows a child to stand within the sleeve and pretend driving a vehicle. The cardboard car has two hand holes, which are essential features of the said cardboard car, which are scored and cut within the two sides of the cardboard car. These hand holes provide children with the ability to lift and maneuver the cardboard car in any fashion they so choose.
Said cardboard is white on the outer sides for clarity for ease of colouring and brown on the interior of the cardboard sleeve.
The cardboard car is printed with a design of a character car, which is a black out line print, which provides children with a colouring palette to express their individual artistic potential. The cardboard car allows children to use their imaginations in both colour designing the said cardboard car and interactively playing with the cardboard car.
The cardboard car is preferably made from of a cardboard sleeve made from SSSWK-C grade corrugated cardboard. Said cardboard is white on the outer sides and brown on the interior of the cardboard sleeve. The cardboard car has two hand holes, which are essential features of the said cardboard car, which are scored within the two longer sides of the cardboard car. These hand holes provide children with the ability to lift and maneuver the cardboard car in any fashion they so choose The invention may be better understood with reference to the illustrations of embodiments of the invention which:- Figure 1 provides a three dimensional perspective view of the cardboard car which provides the overall appearance of the cardboard car.
The cardboard car shown in Figure 1 is rectangular box shape with an open top 1 and bottom 2 forms the cardboard car. The scored and cut hand holes are located on the left 3 and right 4 sides of the cardboard car.
Claims (4)
1. A cardboard car comprising of corrugated cardboard sleeve having an open top and bottom.
2. A cardboard car as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cardboard sleeve has two hand holes scored and cut on the left and right sides of the cardboard sleeve.
3. A cardboard car according to claims 1 and 2 wherein the cardboard sleeve are made from corrugated SSSWK-C grade corrugated cardboard.
