This invention has been specially devised in order to provide an improved food storage container for both snacks and dips, in one simple cheap effective construction and whereby until the food storage container is opened the contents remain protected from light and air. The food storage container contents may be readily consumed, and the food storage container may then be deposited for recycling.
A snack can container in accordance with this invention comprises a container which is cylindrical of shape, each end of the food storage container are permanently sealed. The opening to the food storage container is around the middle of the container. When opened revealed are two containers which remain joined together by a small hinge. The two joined containers are sealed as to easily peel back the sealing and readily consume contents. The food storage container is held closed together by the label which has perforations across the middle of the label so as to pull open with a zipper like action. The food storage container is preferably made from paper materials such as paper foil lined materials and plastic coated metal materials, however, other materials may be used.
For example, the food storage container may be made from suitable food grade plastics materials. The food storage container may alternatively be made in the shape such as square rectangular, triangular and oval shapes and all multi sided shapes and may be printed and the use of suitable taping may be used to hold closed the food storage container.
The invention may be better understood with reference to the illustration of embodients of invention which:- Figure 1 is the front view of the food storage container when closed together, the opening around the middle.
Figure 2 is the action of the hinge upon opening of the food storage container.
Figure 3 is the food storage container fully opened.
Figure 4 the back view of the food storage container when closed together.

Figure 6 the label with perforated lines across the middle from edge to edge of the label the pull tags incorporated part of the label which the label holds closed together the snack food storage container.
The food storage container shown which is cylindrical in shape opens 7 from the said middle into two food storage containers 9 and 10. The hinge 8 keeps the two food storage containers 9 and 10 joined together. Both outer ends 11 and 12 of the food storage container are permanently sealed closed. By pulling back a label 6 with perforated lines 13 across the said middle, the food storage container open's into two containers 9 and which would be said sealed so as to peel back said sealing for easy removal.

- 85-OV-00 1224PATICA LE EF~EE0243681514 P-106 3 The claims defining the invention are as follows:- 1 A food storage container comprising a container where the opening is around the middle and upon opening are two containers which remain joined by a small hinge and the two containers remain permanently sealed at both outside ends and where is both inner containers are lightly sealed as to easily peel back sealing and where is the labeling keeps the food storage container closed together. 2. A food storage container as claimed in claim 1, wherein the container has a small hinge that keeps two containers joined together, the label with perforated lines keeps the two containers closed together, 3. A food storage container as claimed in 1 wherein the container is in cylindrical, rectangular, square, oval and triangular shapes and all sided shapes. 4. A food storage container according to claims 1 and 2 and 3 wherein the container are made from paper and foil lined paper materials, and plastic coated metal materials and food grade plastic materials.
