The base rail and board can be fabricated or moulded in timber or plastics materials.
The image can be highlighted by a light source.
Brief Description of the Drawings Aspects of the present invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figqure 1 is a perspective view of a photographic display device according to the present invention, and Fiqures 2, 2a and 2b are illustrations of the types of images the display device which can be used to highlight, depending on the owner's preferences.
With respect to the drawings, the photographic display device of the present invention comprises an elongate rail generally indicated by arrow 1, a channel 2 in the rail and a board 3 having a lower edge 4 which is complementary to and inserted in the channel.
One major surface of the board mounts a photographic image of an object or person(s).

The board 3 and rail 1 can be fabricated from suitable timber or plastics.
The images may be highlighted by a reflective device, or a light source 6 such as a small electric bulb (not shown) or fibre optic cable with an associated power source.
The contouring around the image may be achieved using conventional tools or by laser cutting or the like.
Figures 2 to 2b of the drawings illustrate images of objects such as a building, a motorcar and boat.
