Description
PAPER MADE CONTAINERS FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a paper made container which is formed by folding at pre-set folding lines of the paper piece, and the container includes strong support structure.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Environmental senses like a huge wave hitting take-out business which uses containers to receive foods. The conventional containers for taking out food are made of polymer which is not degradable in the soil and increases burden of our earth so that the polymer made containers are not welcomed by the customers. Paper made containers are ideal substitute of the polymer made containers and can be recycled. Nevertheless, the paper made containers can only be made to be shallow containers because the limitations of the nature of paper product. Leakage is another weakness of the paper made containers.
The present invention intends to provide a paper made container which is formed by folding at pre-set folding lines and includes better structural strength so that it can be made to be deep container.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a paper made container which includes a base portion with two first side parts and two second side parts connected thereto. Two first folding lines are respectively formed between the base portion and the two first side parts. Two second folding lines are respectively formed between the base portion and the two second side parts. Each of the second side parts is located between the two first side parts. A connection part is connected between two adjacent first side part and second side part. Each of the first side parts and the second parts has a flange on a distal edge thereof. The connection parts are folded outward and two ends of the flange on each of the first side parts is attached to an underside of two ends of the flange on the second side parts.
The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.
flanges second BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Fig. 1 is a perspective view to show the container of the present invention; Fig. 2 is a top plan view to show the container of the present invention; Figs. 3A and 3B show the connection parts are folded outward and the on the first side parts are attached to an underside of the flanges on the side parts; Fig. 4 shows the base portion includes an annular area; Fig. 5A shows a cross sectional view of the container of the present invention; Fig. 5B shows the container with a part of the container being removed; Figs. 6A and 6B show the container is made to be a shallow plate; Fig. 7 shows a cover is used to cover the container, and Fig. 8 shows two reinforcement plates are attached to the flanges.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT Referring to Figs. 1, 2, 3A and 3B, the paper made container 10 of the present invention comprises a base portion 130 and two first side parts 125 and two second side parts 12 are respectively connected to the base portion 130. Two first folding lines 16 are respectively formed between the base portion 130 and the two first side parts 125. Two second folding lines 17 are respectively formed between the base portion 130 and the two second side parts 12. Each of the second side parts 12 is located between the two first side parts 125. A triangular connection part 14 is connected between two adjacent first side part 125 and second side part 12.
Each of the first side parts 125 and the second parts 12 has a flange 15 on a distal edge thereof and the flanges 15 are folded outward. A recess 140 is defined between adjacent flange 15 on the first side part 125 and the flange 15 on the second side part 12. The connection parts 14 are folded outward and two ends of the flange on each of the first side parts 125 are attached to an underside of two ends of the flange on the second side parts 12 via the recesses 140. The outward folded connection parts 14 can be attached to the outside of the first side parts 125 so as to form a strong support to the container. The container can be made to be a deep container as shown in Fig. 1 or a shallow plate as shown in Figs. 6A and 6B.
Further referring to Figs. 4, 5A and 5B, the base portion 130 includes two circular folding lines 13 between which an annular area 131 is defined, so that the annular area 131 are folded outward to form a ridge on the underside of the base portion 130.
As shown in Fig. 7, each of the flanges 15 on the first side parts 125 and the second side parts 12 has a tag 170 extending therefrom and each tag 170 is split from each of the flanges 15. A cover 18 whose periphery is inserted beneath the tags 170 so as to position the cover 18 on the container and cover the open top of the container.
Fig. 8 shows that two reinforcement plates 20 are connected to each of the flanges 15 on the first side parts 12 and the second side parts 12 such that the user may hold the flanges 15 to serve.
While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
