Description

AUSTRALIA
Patents Act 1990 PAGE 1 COMPLETE SPECIFICATION INNOVATION PATENT GAME PIECE The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method of performing it known to me: The invention is described in the following statements: APPLICATION NUMBER: 2003100403 Description: PAGE 2 A lot of board games have had movable counters or pieces. The idea of my invention is to make the piece an individual: giving it an instructive distance of movement a range of attack how much damage per attack how many life points (other wise known as hit points) The unit or pieces can then be used with other pieces with the same or different attributes to form armies.
The piece is preferably made from plastic but could also be made as effectively from other materials such as steel or dense cardboard.
FIG 1 The piece has a picture on both sides to show controller and other players what unit it is.
The piece has a counting system to show how much damage the unit can take (hit points) FIG 2 Preferably a disk is used in between two sides with an axel through the middle to spin on. The sides of the disk are preferably textured to make it easier to turn.
The steel tab is to help hold the disk in position showing the required digit in the appropriate space. The tab therefore acts as a type of ratchet.
FIG 3 The base of the piece is preferably made of plastic which holds the unit vertical. The movement, range, and attack per piece are shown here. (Refer to FIG 1)
