Abstract

The invention relates to a valuable document or security document (1) that comprises one or more LED elements (2) as a security feature. The LED element (2) is supplied with power by an energy source (3) via lines (4) and (5). Energy source (3) is preferably a passive energy source, that is a solar cell or an antenna. The invention allows for the provision of public features or biometric data for the purpose of identification and/or authentication by personalization of the LED element (2).
