Abstract

The invention relates to an assembly for verifying the user authorisation for devices (1, 15) protected by user identifications by means of control stages (2) for the devices (1, 15) that are connected to each input and display unit (3) and by means of a central computer (4) connected to the control stages (2), for comparing the user identifications that have been input via the input and display unit (3) with user identifications that have been saved to an identification memory (5) and that can be assigned to user data from a user data memory (8). The aim of the invention is to create advantageous production conditions. To achieve this, the control stages (2) for the devices (1, 15) are connected, at least in a grouped manner to a control computer (6, 16) that is connected to the user data memory (8) and can be controlled by the central computer (4). A log-on device (10) for users is assigned to the control computer and the central computer (4), said device comprising input stages (11, 12) for both the user identifications to be saved to the identification memory (5) and the user data to be saved to the user data memory (8). The key code associated with the compared user identification can be read from the key code memory (7) of the central computer (4) into the control computer (6, 16), based on the comparison of the user identifications that have been input using the input and display unit (3) with the saved user identifications.
