Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device used to control errors in the components of a rail vehicle. According to the invention, the accelerating behaviour of at least two antirolling device consoles (32, 32') associated with the body (12) of a rail vehicle (10) is monitored by correlating. The accelerating speed values of the anti-rolling device consoles (32, 32') arranged on the left and right of the body (12) in the direction in which the rail vehicle (10) travels and a correlated coefficient (K) is compared to at least one threshold value whereby an alarm signal (58) is triggered when at least one threshold value is exceeded and the accelerating speed values are individually subjected to a signal analysis (50, 50').
