Description

(Innovation Patent) Multi Access Rail System (Description) The purpose of this invention is to share conventional rail (eg. Tram/Train) systems with Guided Busway (eg. O-Bahn) rail systems, where the steel rails of the conventional rail system are incorporated in the lower level of the guided busway rail (see Fig: 1 of Drawings).
The upper surface of the steel rails of the Tram/Train would be aligned appropriate to the traveling surface of the lower level of the guided busway rail in order to provide best traveling surface for both modes of transport. (also see Fig: 1 of Drawings) Donald George GRAHAM 01/05/2002 (Name of Applicant(s)) (date)

Claims (4)

1. This invention is intended to incorporate existing guided rail technologies by sharing common track amenities.
2. This invention is intended to replace existing single purpose guided rail track amenities with a shared common track amenity as well as creating new shared common track amenity where neither track amenity currently exists.
3. Although this invention is mainly intended to incorporate existing transport systems traveling in the same direction, it is not restricted from bi-directional or reversible travel.
4. This invention is not restricted to specific dimensions, rail gauges or combination of construction materials. Donald George GRAHAM 01/05/2002 (Name of Applicant(s)) (date)
